Subway — Restaurant in Esquimalt

Easily the worst subway in the area. Save yourself if you drive and just go to another one. 😬

I live 2 min away from that subway so unfortunately by default doordash only offers to buy subway from this location. They always mess up something in my sub, either over toasted, either the wrong bread or missing an ingredient/barely any of it etc. I’ve walked in before as well as I live right next to it and tried to give this location multiple chances, it’s been disappointing each time. My subs are never done with good care. It’s always done poorly. They’re pretty cheap with the ingredients and every time my subs are missing meat in both ends. Poor job overall. And i’ve ordered from there 10+ times if you include Doordash orders and walk ins.

Some serious improvement to be made with this place. Safe to say I’ll be using Skip the Dishes from now on if i crave Subway since we can choose which location when we order. Or just drive to...

I really like the subs but lately the staff at this location is extremely rude. Very short with customers, one told to hurry up while they rushed, only 4 people in the store and everyone was relaxed except the workers. One swearing while kids were in the shop eating. I ordered a numbered item and they told me to customize it myself later very rudely rolled her eyes and turned away. At the top of the list it says say a number and we'll handle the rest so why do I get a rude response because she doesn't know how to make the sandwiches. The staff here are very friendly. I walked in while they were preparing a large lunch order for a school yet it did not slow them down. I accidentally ordered my sub on a wrap instead of flatbread (I hadn't yet had my morning coffee) and they did not hesitate to rectify my mistake. Granted no food had been put on the wrap but I believe it may had already been heated. The coffee here is behind the counter instead of self-serve like other subways and not as good as Timmy's. The subway on Shelbourne which is also next to a Tim Hortons, has a breakfast special of 6" egg and cheese with coffee for $3 but they do not have the same...
