Taco Tuesday! (actually burrito wraps) $10 beef or $12 fish (no fries) Very good!! Aug 2025. May 2025: arrived on a sunny Friday afternoon in mid-may, sat outside on the patio. I think they were understaffed; it appeared they only had one waitress serving the five tables (12 people) were sitting outside. From the time that we arrived, ordered a drink, ordered food, and received our bill to pay, it was over 2 hours. About 15 minutes after arriving to get our menu / put in drink order. 15 minutes to receive our drink and order food. 20 minutes to receive food, then almost an hour to catch the waitresses to let her know that we would be happy to receive the bill now so that we could be on our way. It appeared that another waitress arrived around 4:30 but at that point there were people sitting inside and I think she was serving those individuals. As tall individuals, we found the seats to be uncomfortably low. There were some tall black stools in a row along the side bar outside if you want to sit in a line and face the river which is beautiful, but those were in full sun at the time so we didn't sit there. 2 burgers with fries, 3 beers, $70. April 2025: "He's not here" is BACK!! I am so excited to see this. I always enjoyed this restaurant, right across from the Niagara River, just at the North end of Fort Erie as you are entering town. I was so disappointed to see when they closed down during the covid years and didn't reopen. They've just reopened in the same location, same name, similar menu / style... But not the same I was pleased to see that they are trying to offer more local beers such as the ones from Ridgeway's Brimstone brewing co. Although they only have one kind of burger now (previous owners had 14 varieties of burger) they also have such favorites as fish and chips, sandwiches, wraps, etc. (I'll be honest I am kind of disappointed, I really did like the variety of burgers that they used to have here.) The decor is a little different, I find the metal chairs to be too low, and a tad uncomfortable when you're wearing a dress and you've got these metal slats sticking to the back of your leg (I did notice, too late, that some of the chairs had chair pads, but ours did not). I preferred the dark table and chair look they used to have (but that's a personal choice). At least they still have booths here (not many, they were all occupied when we arrived) There was also a flub on the printed menu... there was a beer that was advertised as a stout, which we ordered, and it was not a stout it was actually a sour! (which is the opposite of a stout). We ordered fish and chips which were very good and a crispy chicken sandwich was also was very good. I like that there is an outside patio, a little too cool in April to be sitting out there but it's going to be great in the summertime. Our service was very good, and I hope that they will have a lot of luck continuing in this location.

He’s Not Here is such an amazing gem in our town!! I’ve been many times with my boyfriend, my friend and my brother and it’s super clean. Such a welcoming and nice atmosphere in a lovely location. The food is always top tier, drinks equally as delicious and service is so friendly and quick. I found the prices to be totally reasonable and on the cheaper side. Definitely will continue spreading good word about this place and happy to see it reopened :)

Friendly local folks mixed with the best wings and beer over on the Canadian side of the border, just a stone throw away from buffalo. For all explorers you must find and visit this joint. The wings are truly crispy on the outside but moist on the inside. I'm know "He's not here" but I'll take his wings anytime. I never give 5 stars but i certain you'll agree. Let me know how the experience was for you.

If you’re looking for amazing food, a welcoming atmosphere, and top-tier service, He’s Not Here is the place to be! This restaurant and bar strikes the perfect balance—family-friendly and inviting, yet also a great spot to unwind with a drink.

The food is absolutely delicious, made with quality ingredients and so much care. Whether you’re in the mood for a hearty meal, a quick bite, or something to pair with a refreshing cocktail, you won’t be disappointed. The flavors are incredible, and the portions are generous!

Went in for lunch with my wife to try this place. We waited 45 minutes for our food with an empty restaurant.,except for one other table with an older couple and 3 loud, obnactious morons at the bar swearing and bragging they just got off work from PenPlast. After waiting 45 minutes our order was still messed up. We specifically asked for gravy on the side on our fries. They came out drenched in gravy. The waitress said "oops sorry, did you want me to get you a new one" you can understand why we would say no after the 45 minute wait. Our burgers were disgusting especially my wifes Blue cheese burger. Which she said tasted like chemicals. I tasted it and it did, the blue cheese tasted like plastic and chemicals. The service sucked, the waitress was too busy serving the 3 morons than looking after us, and the food was awful. Not recommended at all. Any place of business that uses the Comic Sans font on their sign should...
