**UPDATE: After our first visit, we received a few $5 off coupons with orders of $30+, which we used on our takeout order last week. This week, upon picking up our takeout order, my husband was told that the coupons are now for "dine-in only". Although I understand that coupons are subject to changes at the owner's discretion, we were really put off that they didn't honour it (with a side note that they won't be accepting them in the future), considering there's nothing on the coupon to indicate it's for "dine-in only", and this change seems to have happened out of the blue. My husband and I visited Kaizen on their opening night and were very happy with both the quality of the food and the service. We're used to all-you-can-eat style sushi places, and noticed a huge difference in the quality of the sashimi and rolls at Kaizen. Everything was fresh and nicely presented, and the service was great too. We will definitely be back to try their ramen :)

We have absolutely loved Kaizen and its owners at their original Niagara Falls location and now here in Fort Erie. Our meals have always been excellent, everything we've tried has been unforgettable. Our favourites items after dozens of visits have been the incredible tempura rolls, the torched salmon teriyaki sushi is addictive, tonkatsu ramen is my personal staple, mango prawns are our favourite appetizer, and the excellent cuts of salmon sashimi are delightful. Our only issue was with serving on an extremely busy night, but we know from copious experience with the previous location that things will run more smoothly with time and more experience for the new servers. We will be returning to Kaizen as often as we possibly can.

The quality of food and service is amazing, one of the best ramen I'm ever had. There's plenty of options to choose from. Pork, beef, chicken and seafood dishes, the sushi and sashimi is always fresh. The owners are amazing they're welcoming and their hospitality is unmatched. The atmosphere is pleasant and you have the option of sitting in the quieter romantic style dinning area or the faux outdoor brighter space. The prices are not the lowest but definitely worth every penny, they get my support for their consistent quality and hardworking owners and staff. I highly recommend this restaurant which is located in Fort Erie.

Went here with the family for dinner! The place is exquisite! Love the layout and the patio. Very welcoming and aesthetic was on point.

We ordered few appetizers(10/10) such as: deep fried scallops, spicy mango prawns, and 7-spices Calamari which are all DELCIOUS! They were super good!

We also had Hot & Sour soup(9/10) which was also so refreshing. It's a different style hot & sour soup. Very light and tasty, we love how different it is from the Chinese hot & sour soup.

We also ordered ramen(2/10): Dan dan men, shoyu ramen, and beef miso ramen. They were underwhelming. We were looking at the reviews prior and all of them were saying how delicious the ramen were. So I'm guessing maybe we just had a bad batch?? All three were lacking flavour and the noodles had this distinct flavour I can't pinpoint. The meat also seem like they were lacking marinade. The broth needed more salt/ flavour, they were flat tasting. Again, maybe we just had a bad batch? I'm not sure.

Would love to come back and try the ramen again and also more sushi! Other than than, the staff were all kind...

Wow, this one is definitely a five star all the way, we came here to celebrate my husband‘s birthday, and it was far a Bob and beyond what we expected. Specially the servers, from the one that brought us to the chair, she was knowledgeable about the beautiful restaurant And invited us to walk around so we could see it. That’s how we found that there’s even a large space if you have large parties, and I cannot remember my server, but she remembered everybody’s name, she was sweet and friendly, and we really liked her. But the food also was amazing Nice quantities, tasted really good, and prices were good for the quality and quantity. I like that their sizes were nice for sushi, which is where some restaurants fall. The place doesn’t even look as beautiful as it is if you only see the outside. I am so happy with this new restaurant in town Invite everyone to try. If you’re not into sushi, try the salmon really great too. They even gave us our dessert for free because the birthday or because it was her first time I’m...

We were so excited to see a sushi and a ramen place finally open in FE. I drove from Toronto to take my parents out for lunch. Well, the service is great, the place is beautiful however their ramen so underwhelming. Let’s start with noddles, over cooked, the portion small, so small that we thought this was a kid’s meal. I’m not trying to be funny here. The tonkotsu broth was just ok, an egg wasn’t even seasoned and it came with only two thin slices of pork fat, where’s the protein? And miso ramen had again two super very thin, sandwich like slices of Montreal meat in it? I don’t understand why? bamboo shoots had an odd taste to them almost as if they were well past their due date and as for any vegetables, a sprinkle of green onions. Ramen is my favorite dish and this was extremely disappointing. I have been to Japan a few times so I know a good ramen. We didn’t try anything else but I hope other items are much better. Unfortunately it literally left us speechless. We were so looking...
