I have been following Dana and Jon’s journey for what seems like forever now. Living 5 hours away I have ordered many items online which have always been shipped quickly and packaged with the most care. Today I finally had the opportunity to visit The Manic Maker in person! And I was most definitely not disappointed! This has to be the cleanest cafe I have ever been to, seriously you could eat off the floor and no table was even slightly sticky! A huge win in my books! The atmosphere is just as describe comfy and cozy! The decor was unbelievably eye catching but not overwhelming! What an amazing cafe! As for the food
..Wowzer! We had BLTS and I am super picky on the freshness of my veggies. The Manic Maker did not disappoint all veggies crisp and full of flavour. We had one of our sandwiches on an artisan bagel! Holy macaroni store bought bagels do not compare in the slightest! Would I go back HECK YES START THE CAR!

Especially the freeze dried Oreo sandwich, those are to die for! I bought one yesterday and it’s actually better than the ice cream itself! I highly recommend! Also I love the pink carrying trays that you can use when you bring it to where you’re sitting! Overall, every time I come inside, I feel so welcomed and can just sit at one of the the booths to just enjoy my day, I highly recommend this place!! Also I recommend getting the carrot cake and the Chai and white hot chocolate ✹

Great local spot with chill vibe and kind and welcoming staff. Decent selection of breakfast foods and desserts. Good, fresh coffee. Baked goods were fresh, cheese sauce that was offered with the pretzel was not great, but that's to be expected when ordering cheese-sauce for breakfast. They also have a unique selection of hand-made trinkets. The most notable feature is the very diverse selection of freeze-dried confection. I have sampled quite a few of their freeze dried products and have never been disappointed. The freeze-dried ice-cream sandwich is my personal favourite. These treats makes great novelty snacks for parties, good conversation starters, and excellent gifts.

So happy to see the growth of this local small business. Moving to a larger space has been huge for them, and really helped them to expand and try new things. They are super friendly and helpful.

Recently I tried the freeze dried cookie dough and freeze dried jello, absolutely loved them. I honestly expected that with the crunch from freeze drying, the cookie dough would just taste like a fully baked cookie, but it kept that doughy flavour that I was hoping for.

The jello sort of tasted like cotton candy at first until it started to dissolve and then you get hit with the full flavour. I'm not sure if the red was cherry or strawberry, but it was my favourite and I would definitely buy a bag of...
