A&W Canada — Restaurant in Fort McMurray

Spent 10 minutes in drive through with only one vehicle in front of me. When received my order, it was wrong. I went into the restaurant to get it corrected. They handed me a burger 4 times before they actually got it right. And just to be clear, this was not a special request or special made order. It was the current special, mushroom mozza egg n sausage breakfast sandwich, that's it, no sides, no drinks, just a single sandwich. The original order, left out the sausage. When I went in to get it corrected, they handed me the "corrected order", the attendant visually inspected it and then gave it to me, and I saw once I got back to my vehicle it was wrong again, without the sausage. I went back in to get it corrected, the next attempt, came without sausage and cheese, which I saw immediately and pointed out at the counter and the fourth failed attempt, had the sausage but not the cheese. When they finally got the order correct, the burger was cold. This was an incredible fail at customer service and just service in general. If I could give zero...

Well, to start off. I'm never eating at A&W ever again. The wife and I were here a couple of days ago. All we grabbed were 4 chicken burgers. What I couldn't believe was it cost just under 50.00. It was a complete rip-off. Just today, I went to The Elk Feb 12 2025. I bought 2 meals platers. The cost was 45.00 and received way more than 4 chicken burgers. It was so good. Also, it's better food. Not like the crap I got just a few days ago. How does a company figure there crap is worth more, and it's better. It's junk food. No good food. I think A&W needs to shake their heads. You need to rethink your prices. I know for a fact that they have lost my business for good. Good luck to the owners. Before you go here, check out The Elk. Let's start with the good... the food seems to be always made to standard, it's mediocre food.

...the customer service is extremely poor though. Order food? Expect and attitude from the employee. Order a drink? Don't expect it to be part of your complete order. Question the missing drink? How dare you... "I'll bring it to your table", the employee will say. Wondering where your drink is 5 minutes later? Don't. It will be there in 10. ...might I add, I was the only one in line and only one waiting on an order at the time.

Oh, and don't question the employee who didn't wash their hands when they return from the restroom... I questioned it and the response I got was "I washed the in the bathroom". Is it just me or does the knob of the bathroom door contain bacteria? of how about the pants I watched them dry their...
