Soleilki Japanese Fusion — Restaurant in Fort McMurray

I called for pickup, and agreed to wait 40mins for my order to be ready, because this place had a roll with avocado, salmon and cream cheese, the Philadelphia roll, which happens to be my favourite and not so easy to find. I waited the 40 mins and arrived there to find out that they hadn't even started making my roll, so i had to wait for another 15 mins. Up to this point things were still fine, because the sashimi looked delicious (and it was) and i still had my favourite roll to eat. To my disappointment, the roll didn't have cream cheese and it had cucumber instead (which i don't really like), so I definitely didn't get what I paid for... very disappointed! Apparently the minimum rating is one star (I wish there was an option for none), but I'lI give the place one star (so two in total in this case, even though that almost looks like too much) just because the food was still good, and they at least replaced the smoked salmon for regular salmon as I requested (i would've simply not been able to eat it if that wouldn't been the case)... the rest of the service was terrible and I didn't really get what I wanted, but the sashimi pieces where really big and delicious (they got that right) and the...

Summary: Great food and atmosphere. Perfect place for a date or small gathering, but call ahead to accommodate more than 6 as the restaurant is a bit small. A truly fantastic restaurant. Beautiful interior, sporting an absolutely stunning Japanese atmosphere. The servers are very kind, the chefs are expedient and excellent and best of all they offer Dine-in and delivery! Because this is the times, they were covid-19 conscious and so all employees had masks as well as hand sanitizer was supplied at the door. As for the food? Scrumptious. I highly recommend their takoyaki and Karaage appetizers as well as their specialty rolls. Their Bento boxes were organized and tidy and while, admittedly, their miso soup was not my favourite, their donburi perfectly hits the spot. I personally enjoyed their Unagi(eel)-don, though their Katsu(chicken)-don looked very tempting as well.

For the adults, their alcohol menu was very varied and I highly recommend seeing what they have. On the menu they had Sake Cocktails(a delicious treat I'd never heard of until here), a good assortment of Hot and Cold sakes, as well as common classic drinks as well. Overall GREAT SELECTION for Alcohol.

Called to order boba tea and a girl picked up the phone, I asked her could you please tell me what flavours you guys have to which she replied we have so many I can’t just tell you all of them but what do you like I said what fruit flavours do you have to which she said ok we have so many how can I tell you all of them I said ok just give me mango. She was in such a hurry and I asked her for flavours because I could not find the drink menu online. Anyway went to pick it up and I am talking to the guy who was ringing my order in so I can pay as I am talking to him that you guys don’t have a drink menu? To see maybe I missed it and he might be able to guide me while I am talking he told me 1 minute and took his personal phone out of his pocket and started talking in his language.
