I gotta say I'm pretty disappointed in tonight's experience. I have always praised Cedars and used to tell everyone I know how delicious they were and anytime someone would come here in town it would be the first place I'd bring them . Over the last few years the price of a platter has almost doubled, which is understandable I know due to inflation etc. But at least the quality was always top notch and you'd get a huge portion when ordering the platter so I didn't mind paying the price. Lately I've heard they went a bit downhill and after tonight's experience I have to agree.. the portion was tiny compared to what it used to be with barely any meat. Was ainly rice, meat had barely any flavour and the salad looked old and almost rotten. I literally feel sick after eating the small amount I did. Now with the price being so high, portions being much smaller and quality not even close to what it was hopefully something turns back around for them and they can get it back up to where it was. Read moreI loveeee the rib eye platter!!!! My all time fave. The cooks accommodate to how you like your meat done. Their rice is one of my favourite parts of the meal because its oily and has a nice yet subtle taste to it (not too salty).
Not a personal fan of shwarma but I have friends that love the shwarma here.
The wait time isn't too long (5-15 mins depending on what you got ) and there's a place to sit so at least you're not standing.
The platters are a little pricey but you get a lot! They usually have pita bread, side of salad, hummus and garlic paste with the platters so it's super fulfilling.
Overall this place is a total must if you enjoy Middle Eastern food! Would 100%...
