Buffet To Go! — Restaurant in Fredericton

I don't know what some of the people here who give this place a great rating are talking about but, it certainly doesn't match with our experience. We wouldn't cross the street to get to this place again! It might be ok if you want a snack but, if you're looking for a "meal" then this is definitely not the place to go. The "Large" plate or bowl (at $11.95 I might add) is 7 inches around and approximately 1 3/4 inches deep. Not much room for a "Buffet". The only way to get a "full" meal is to buy a large AND a small which will run you a bit over $25.00. The rice was dry and, frankly, a bit like chewing sand, the "Beef" and Broccoli? - we're still not sure what kind of meat it was but, it didn't resemble beef in any shape or form that we've ever had it. It's what we used to call, in the High School cafeteria "mystery meat". It was like chewing on soft rubber and the broccoli, even though it looked fresh and tasty, was basically raw. With all the Chinese restaurants in and around the Fredericton area personally, we can't see this place lasting very long! We certainly won't be going back again!! Honestly disappointed in the service received on the Northside location for the last time At 7:30-740pm on Feb 1 2022, I’ve spent my Hard earned money here often, along with plenty of friends and family, I’ve never had a problem until the past 2 or 3 visits, Walking through the door you are greeted by a woman that is obviously irritated at your very presence, Rude is an understatement even as low and childish as to roll her eyes at you, uses a sharp unwelcoming tone When tending to your dish she is extremely careless and inconsiderate with portions and presentation “ doesn’t even include utensils in your bag , I’ve seen a dogs dish served with more care and consideration, I understand we all have bad days here and there. But honestly as a polite paying customer you definitely deserve better and for obnoxious rude behaviour there is no excuse especially for a regular occurrence, I’d make the trip to the south side location before ever returning...

this review is for the OROMOCTO location. the signs says its open at 11am. the last two times this has not happened. opened late and food not ready to be served. today Feb 22 i was there at 11am and it was not open. at 11:05 i phoned and they did not answer, at 11:10 i went back and the place was open but there was nothing out. i asked the employee why there was no food available when the sign clearly states the bussiness is open at 11 am. the answer i got was that it takes them 20 minutes to get to work. i suggested that maybe if they dont start work on time to get the food ready for 11am then maybe the opening hours should be changed. the reply to that was that it was mentioned to the boss but he wont do any changes. the food is good but if they keep operating like this they wont be around for long. lot of other places one can get good...
