If you're looking for a place to have a nice relaxing family dinner or to go out with your girlfriends or your Bible study group, I would absolutely find someplace else to go. One recent trip showed us how bad the service is and how bad management is at this location. We booked a room for our Bible study group and when we got there they gave it away to another group of people. They put us at the bar and most of our people are seniors and most of them are over 70. Getting up on those bars tools is not easy. Try doing it as an 84-year-old. While trying to get up on this bar stool, my 84-year-old mother injured herself. Management did nothing about it. With regards to the room they had booked , management made comments like they couldn't have the room they booked and gave it to a birthday party instead and the management told them that they're going to be serving that room first even though they had booked it previously and had arrived before them. They could have put them at a table somewhere, instead of at the bar. Not to mention they were there for 3 hours. The food didn't arrive for an hour and a half. Management's solution was to offer them 10% off the order. This is very bad service, it's unprofessional and typical of this location. Bad service. Not a customer oriented restaurant, it's more about money for them. Service means nothing to them. Getting food out to their people In a timely manner means nothing. Somebody booking a room means nothing to them. Let alone an 84-year-old woman who got injured in their store and they could care less. I absolutely would not go back to this place and I'd recommend for you to find someplace else to eat. You will have a better experience somewhere else. One note, while reading this you may think that the person writing it is bitter because their mother was hurt, while that could be part of it, I and other people that I know have had the same experience at this restaurant.
December 13 As a follow-up to this review, my mother is still experiencing a lot of pain with her leg as a result of the very poor decision making of this business. Read moreAbsolutely terrible experience here, ordered the Italian special for 2 and everything from ordering, picking up and the quality was not up to par to other East Side locations I’ve been to.
To start, I ordered at 8pm on Sunday night and had the order expected at 8:19pm, as we were about to arrive we get a call about from the store about the “fish and chip” we ordered? I explained what we ordered and mentioned we put nuts and fish as an allergy on the online app, no big deal just a bit of confusion, we ended up arriving around 8:30 and entered on the app that we arrived and put in my vehicles details for curbside.
We waited for about 20 minutes after the scheduled pick up time before calling through the app and speaking to customer service and having them contact the store, after another 10 minutes we finally got the answer that their curbside pick up wasn’t working and never notified them we were there (The girlfriend and I were in PJs ready to have a movie night or I would’ve just gone inside at this point)
Finally we get the food at about 9:05pm… an hour after ordering and 40 minutes after the supposed pick up time, I asked the girl that brought the food out how long it’s been sitting and her reply was “only 10 minutes it just came out” it was certainly hot but when I got home the Fettuccine Alfredo had no chicken and the sauce had dried up from sitting as long as it had, I called at about 9:30 and asked for a resolution to this yet I was greeted with the classic “the manager isn’t in can he give you a call in the morning?” As if there isn’t still 35 minutes left to simply remake the meal I paid for, even McDonald’s would simply replace the order…yet a full fledged restaurant can’t live up to the same customer service?
So as of now I’m out $45 and have to make a second trip to get more food because apparently no one has the authorization to remake a meal? I’m extremely disappointed and hope the manager realizes customer service is...
Read moreMe and my boyfriend ate here on weekend. We love the food and atmosphere there. We eat there every weekend.l and sometimes once during the week. But lately the service has gone very bad. We went in at 8pm sat. Both ordered chicken parm. He got a salad and me a soup for a app. She brought him the salad and said they have no soup and it will be a bit before it's ready. I said ok and she left before I had a chance to ask for bread and parm cheese for the salad. We would of liked some bread but our server hadn't come back around for over 10 min. so I asked another server and she brought us bread immediately. Well.... About 20 minutes goes by still no soup and my boyfriend was long done his salad and would of loved another one. But our server seemed more interested hanging out with her coworkers whos shif ended and were all at the bar. She kept serving them different drinks and laughing and talking rather then checking in on her customers. I've notice this alot lately. When the staff our done there shifts in the weekend evening they all just hand out at the bar disturbing the servers from serving the real customers. That wouldn't fly if I was the manager. Anyways 30 min later I got my soup plunked in front of me and she was starting to walk away and I said excuse me can I get parm cheese, bread and my boyfriend would like another salad. 10 minutes later she shows up with my requests and 5 minutes later with our chickens parms finally...
