Mama's Brew Pub — Restaurant in Fredericton

This is a story about great service, startlingly good food and a new favorite wing spot.

First, the young fella at the door popped out to clean the table on the patio we had noticed seeming open on our way in, above and beyond what he needed to do on a busy wing night.

Our server was enthusiastic, friendly and welcoming in a way that made eating out feel at home - with just enough checking in to make sure our needs were met, never rushing us through a course.

The food was spectacular, I chose fish tacos because I was stuck between taco salad and fish and chips, and I was delighted with the fresh, crispy fish and fresh aoili and veggies in the wrap. Perfect!

Their spin dip is now my favorite in the city, and my partner ordered the wings - his highest ranking for wings in the city so far, 9/10, only losing a point for pouring the sauce over the wings instead of tossing in sauce.

Flawless dining out experience, highly recommend, and, the prices are still so affordable after all these upgrades they've done! Startlingly great food, with spectacular service, at a fair price.

we went out tonight to go out for drinks at somewhere we had never been before & despite living in fredericton for awhile (our whole lives) we had never been to mama's. we were asked by a kind man whether we wanted to sit inside or outside & we looked at each other & nodded in agreement "inside" because the humidity was so harsh & unbearable we couldn't fathom sitting in our own sweat for a moment longer. to our aid came the sweet & everlasting air-conditioning of mama's.

after sitting down at a high-table we were given the menus & shortly after, were greeted by our waitress for the evening, sarah. this is where heaven ended & hell began. i'm just kidding. sarah was a great waitress (maybe the best? but i don't feel comfortable saying that because she's the only waitress that has ever served us here. we've only been here once. it was this time.) & honestly, this was one of the best nights out we've had in...

We were passing through Fredricton and my sons asked if we could have wings for dinner. A quick Reddit check seemed to indicate that Mama's Pub was the place to go for wings and, it being Wednesday, it just happened to be wing nite.

We had to wait about 10 minutes to get a seat but the service, once we were seated, was attentive, friendly and prompt. I ordered 10 Medium and my sons ordered 10 Sweet Thai Chili and 10 Honey Garlic. We live close to Buffalo and have wings there fairly regularly and the Mama's wings were great. They were lightly breaded and quite tasty. Medium was a little hotter than what I'm used to but I certainly didn't mind. I ordered a Mama's Brew Blueberry Wheat Ale with my dinner and it paired nicely with the heat of the wings. It's also convenient that you can order cans of Mama's Brew to take with you. I took a can of Atlantic Great White back to the hotel to enjoy later.

Overall, an enjoyable meal....
