The Philly Cheese steak was not very cheesy at all. The flavor was "ok" but nothing to get overly excited about. The East Coast Poutine is a Donaire poutine. Perfect poutine fries, topped with gravy, cheese curds, donair meat, onion, tomato and donair sauce. There were plenty of fries and gravy, the amount of donair meat and sauce was what you would expect. There were only two slices of tomato, each cut in half to make 4 half slices of tomato. The onions were large slivers. This poutine would be much better if the tomatoes and onions were diced. The food here can be a bit messy and for me, that's a good thing because messy food is often GOOD food! However, the napkins they offer are very small and VERY thin. The staff were friendly and helpful for us first time visitors. The dinning area was clean and well maintained. The medium East Coast Poutine was $14.99 and was a good size for the price. My girlfriend wasn't able to finish it. My small Philly Cheese Steak was on special for $6 and was 6 inch with plenty of meat. The bathroom wasn't as clean as I hope hope but definitely cleaner than many...
Read moreThis is the second New Brunswick location of Philthy Phillip's that we have visited and it would seem that consistency is lost on the franchise.
In Moncton, the establishment was spotless, the paint was fresh, our food was served on 1 tray and the sandwich was served closed and neatly wrapped in foil. The gravy was thick and piping hot and the experience was pleasant.
In Fredericton, the paint is chipping off the walls, the food was served on separate trays, for each individual, the sandwiches were open faced and just thrown on the tray, the gravy was so watered down it had no flavour and soaked into the over cooked fries creating a tough, chewy, hard to pry out of the box dining experience that leaves something to be desired. Even my youngest son's chicken tenders were so over cooked. We won't hurry back to the Fredericton location, if we...
Read moreIf you’re craving a real Philly cheesesteak or poutine that hits all the right notes, Philthy Philly’s is the place to go! I stopped by recently and was blown away by the quality, flavor, and portion sizes.
The steak was tender, perfectly seasoned, and stacked generously in the bun — just the way a real Philly cheesesteak should be. The cheese was melted to perfection, and the toppings were super fresh. I also tried their signature poutine and WOW — crispy fries, rich gravy, and real cheese curds. It’s comfort food at its finest.
Service was fast and friendly, the place was clean, and the food came out hot and fresh. Whether you’re grabbing lunch or a late-night bite, Philthy Philly’s delivers every time.
Highly recommend this spot if you love bold flavors, generous portions, and fast food done RIGHT. I’ll...
