Thai Spice Restaurant — Restaurant in Fredericton

I ordered delivery online so the transaction was smooth. As for the food, my favourite dish was the spicy pad thai with beef. Other items in my order were the imperial roles, fried wonton, and spicy green curry with chicken.

The pad thai tasted very good. The noodles were just right in consistency and it was flavourful. It properly encompasses that sweet, sour, and salty taste that pad thai is known for (it was a dish created for tourists visiting Thailand). I would order it every time!

The imperial rolls is basically a vegetable spring roll. It was fried just right. light and crisp. The filling also had enough flavour that I did not need to dip it in the sauce. If I have a craving, I'd get this again.

The fried wonton was good but the pork filling was not as flavourful as the imperial rolls. It had the right amount of crunch on the outside and the meat was the proper temperature. I would order this again once in a while..

The green curry was disappointing. I felt that the sauce was watered down, then bombarded with spicy seasoning. Perhaps the cook did not reduce the curry sauce over the heat enough. The vegetables were nicely chopped and tender though.

Side note on the spiciness levels: mild, normal, and spicy. Everyone's tolerance varies but for me, the "hottest" level is spicy. My taste buds register it as mild, to the point where I did not sweat a bit.

I came up from the states to visit and decided to try Thai spice based on my brother’s recommendation. Got a couple items but saw they had Tom Yum soup on the menu. This is a difficult soup to do correctly and when done right ( imo) is one of the most amazingly flavorful soups you can eat . Well, Thai spice did not disappoint !! Their version was excellent !! All the layers of flavor were there ( savory, salty, sweet, sour, etc.) the ingredients were , fresh ( made to order) just delicious !!. The shrimp rice wraps with peanut dipping sauce were very good as well. This couple ( assuming they are the owners) knows what they are doing and put out really fresh , healthy and delicious food....
