I am willing to pay a little more money for something that is interesting and good when it comes to food. So, I was willing to give this place a try. For us, it was definitely not worth the money. We got the sample with three very small milkshakes that cost a lot. Two of them were just ok and the donut one was gross. It had ground up pieces of donut in it that felt slimy. I see what they are trying to do here but there are better places in town to get a milkshake that might not look as cute (They did look gorgeous.) but that taste much better. We also found them to be quite sickening, even though two of us shared the three mini-shakes. Another customer actually came in a returned a shake because it was plant based and seemed to be made with some kind of powder that hadn't dissolved. The restautant itself is very cute. The service is super slow, which I personally wouldn't havr minded if the product had been good. Personally, we will stick to places like the Queen Street Creamery that makes its own ice cream and charges much less or Dairy Delite for more of a nostalgic feel. Perhaps this is something everyone should try once for the novelty but it's not a repeat kind of place for us because of the...
Read moreIt was my first time here and I ordered off the vegan menu. The original price was 10.50 for a small plastic cup of over sweetened liquid and I had to pay extra for toppings of vegan whipped cream (1$). There was no option to not tip, I would have tipped gladly as the server was the nicest thing about the shake shed experience. As for the shake it was severely overpriced and over sweetened "Tim's ice cap" with whipped coconut cream on top (which I had to pay extra for). Vegans are definitely shortchanged at the shake shed. I am very disappointed and would not recommend this place to my friends. Just think is it reasonable to pay $15.23 for small office cup full of unmemorable...
Read moreStopped by this dessert spot this week and tried their swirl ice cream—it was creamy, flavorful, and hit the spot on a warm day. They offer a wide variety of shakes and several creative combos, so there’s something for everyone. One thing I really appreciated was that they have lactose-free options available, which makes it much more inclusive for people with dietary needs.
Whether you’re craving something classic or looking to try something new, this place is definitely worth a visit. I’ll be back to try their shakes next...
