Louis Gee's Pizza — Restaurant in Gander

Been going there since it opened and it's still my all-time favorite pizza out of everywhere I've had it. Even after price increases over nearly 3 decades of inflation, you still get a slab for super cheap. Best donairs/sauce and absolute best garlic fingers (disregard the 2 or 3 people talking about the quality; some people can't be pleased lol). The donair sauce is incomparable to every other place. Just miles better than any other, which are always a bit thin, overly tangy with little flavor. This one has a mild sweetness and a really great garlic character with a good creamy body.

Their pizza is flavorful, filling and has a ton of toppings. Piles of cheese, really great sauce and a good crust. Everything else is just a bonus at that point. Their classic pepperoni is a must-have, but do yourself a favor and try a Devil Slice at some point!

And the owners are super sweet. I've known Roger since I was a little kid and he's always been very kind and polite. Still remembers me to this day even between 4 or 5 year stretches of visiting. Absolutely the best pizza...

"That Donair Hit the Spot"

Tried the donair here on a whim and honestly? So glad I did. It was hot, juicy, and packed with flavor — exactly what I was craving.

The meat was perfectly seasoned and tender, the sweet sauce was just right (not too messy, but enough to make it worthwhile), and the pita held everything together like a champ. One of the better donairs I’ve had in a long time.

Service was friendly and quick, and the portion size was solid for the price.

Definitely coming back next time I’m in the area. Highly recommend if you’re a donair fan — or just hungry and want something awesome.

They are not the same as Corner Brook, don’t trust the online prices those are for Corner Brook. They charge way more for their menu items here and it’s terrible. Very flimsy chewy undercooked crust and always stuck to the paper? They are very cheap and should have the franchise name taken from them. Worst Pizza in Gander by far don’t waste your money here! Been here twice now hoping the second chance would pan out but it’s such a scam I do not recommend eating here…EVER. Wayyy better...
