Our very kind waitress told us by the end of our experience that the staff is very stubborn. The manager does not listen to requests of the customers to lower the sound of the live musicians. And the kitchen refuses to comply to customer’s preferences. She had said someone asked for a rare steak and it cane out well done. When the customer sent it back to be redone, the kitchen made it for a second time well done! They do not use meat thermometers!!!
The food is terrible. To no surprise, we had ordered medium rare steak and it came well done.The prices are unreasonable especially considering the quality of the food. The steak tastes like fish, the fries taste like cardboard, the soup has no flavour, the mojitos taste like mint water, and multiple of the cups on our table were stained. This place is a waste of money!
MOST IMPORTANTLY… The music is incredibly loud. The atmosphere was worse than the food. I could not speak to or hear anyone. I honestly felt bad for our waitress. She was a sweetheart but i know that she struggled taking everyone’s order. When we asked to lower the music because it was giving all of us migraines, the request was declined. We all lost our appetite to eat because of the pounding acoustics so we had to ask to eat out in the cold patio instead (we couldn’t find another restaurant that could accommodate such a big group so we were stuck there).

I ordered food directly from Le Pêle Mêle’s (Agora) website for delivery, expecting to receive my meal from them — nowhere did it say they were outsourcing delivery through DoorDash. After multiple confirmations, my order never arrived. I went to the restaurant in person hoping they would honor the order, only to be told that once food leaves their kitchen, it’s “no longer their responsibility.” Their “ Director of operations and customer service” echoed the same dismissive message and told me to ask DoorDash for a refund — even though I paid the restaurant directly, not DoorDash. It’s now been over a month and a half, and my emails are being completely ignored. This isn’t just poor customer service — it’s a business model that avoids accountability and leaves the customer holding the bag. I paid for a meal I never received, and the restaurant has made zero effort to resolve or even acknowledge the issue. If you care about your money or basic customer respect, I strongly suggest avoiding this place....

Your order will go at the end of the line in the kitchen and will get done after all the burgers, nachos, pizza, etc, ordered ahead of your simple dessert. This was verified with the waitress after waiting for 30 minutes and she said there was "only" 3 orders ahead of ours). We waited almost 45 minutes for our dessert (brownie...., nothing fancy). Dessert for kids is included but the order also gets put in at the end of everything else... not very kid friendly... for a kid friendly option. It would have been faster to go get an ice cream at McDonalds or DQ after our dinner. It also took us a while before we could even order our dinner, because the service was so slow. Dessert is an extra and shouldn't be put at the end of the line in the kitchen and have to wait for it that long, and without as much as a warning from the staff.
