I absolutely adored this place! My cousin and I were craving so badly something fruity and fresh near out favourite study place & found this amazing restaurant by chance. From the very first moment that we came in, we were very kindly welcomed! The man explained to us in detail the menu, gave us some samples to try and even spoke to us in Spanish! We were absolutely in awe by how wonderful the customer service was! It reminded us of that warmth of our country of origin, it reminded us of home. The food is absolutely bomb as well! We both took an açai bowl with almost every topic on the menu (which is unlimited and so delicious) & a tapioca! We were full and happy as ever, ready to continue with our finals.
Will definitely bring my friends and family in the future, because this place is to die for!
Also, to the man who welcomed us so kindly, thank you so much for making our day! The stress of finals was getting to us and your service made us so at ease that we completely forgot about that feeling....
Read moreRio Açai is a spot that offers açai from Brazil. Rio Açai offers açai bowls, cheese 🧀 bread 🍞, tapiocas (crepes) and more. Customers can chose premade açai bowls or customize one. They offer a bunch of different toppings such as fruit 🍓🥝, seeds, nuts 🥜, sauces, etc. There’s no limit on toppings. I got mine with pineapples, strawberries, coconut shreds, chia seeds, hemp seeds, granola and condensed milk. The açai is super flavourful. It’s not overly sweet and you can taste the açai berry. The fruits are sour fresh! Next is the Brazilian Cheese 🧀 Bread. This is called Pão de queijo; it’s gluten free (made with tapioca flour). This is chewy and cheesy.. Last but not least, I got the tapioca (not tapioca like bubble tea tapioca!). They’re crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. There are tons of different kinds of tapiocas. I got to try their ham, margarita and condensed milk one. The crepes were delicious. Savory and sweet crepes. What kind...
Read moreI don't know how to make a tapioca crêpe that tastes this good (!!!) 'crepioca' is gluten free. The pão de queijo has lots of cheese and just the right flavour (also gluten free). Big coxinhas. They have havaianas! The açaí is just like we have it in Brazil 🤷♂️ Sooooo many toppings. Cool atmosphere. Lots of Brazilian goodies: sonho de valsa, ouro branco, CANJICA (!!,), paçoquita, Brazilian coffee! Lots of maracujá flavoured stuff. Bolo de rolo 😍
I don't find it overpriced because acai is very expensive in Brazil and this is an imported product. The prices are very fair if you think about what entails to get niche stuff like these and at a location which is very pleasant. Expensive is not the same as over priced. Anyone is welcome to go pickup acai from the amazon jungle to eat it like this lol
They even go to your table outside to serve you. Better experience than I had in all Brazilian restaurants in the...
