For some time i've felt Tim Horton's had a "smelly" retail transaction process and it's smellier after receiving official comms from the company.
i could never see exactly what i paid for when ordering. i finally took a bit of time to follow this up and have discovered that receipts are not made available in any way or shape for a large portion of their transactions. - those ordered and paid via their APP.
what compelled me to look into this is that many times i felt i was being overcharged when choosing an special weekly "offer". i have confirmed many times that they actually did overcharge me. each time it required a support request.
contacting their support over this issue yields at first a deluge of "this is how you", or "this is what we do" but doesn't answer the specific question: where can i find or receive an itemized receipt for the order i just made?
answer: no where.
finally after escalation: Tim Hortons not only does not produce receipts for a large portion of purchase, it "does not have the SOFTWARE to do so", this is again, bewildering.

Read moreDuring the week I only order online and generally my order is ready for pickup. Sadly on the weekends this place is out of hand. They have a severe staffing issue. Often lineups are out the door with one or maybe two staff members trying their best to keep up. I cannot order online on the weekends because it's never ready or even looked at. I've ordered online, waited at the pick up counter for 20 minutes and finally left without my paid order. I will not get in line for 45 minutes to get a coffee. I've also ordered online in the morning on a weekend, gone to pick up and the store is closed due to lack of staff. Someone needs to manage this place better. Schedule 4 or 5 people for Saturdays and Sunday's and hope 3 show up at least. Or don't serve food when there are 50 people in line and you don't have the staff to handle it. At least they haven't run out of cream lately so...
Read moreI have never gave a complaint before to Tim's. Today at 9 principale about 130pm, it wasn't busy at all. To start things were slow upon viewing, but they were only ordering coffee? I was with my son and we ordered food. Farmers wrap and 2 beef sandwiches. The worker was having problems with the toaster, she talked to the manager about it and showed the manager how much she wasted. She then proceeded to make my order, I ran over to ask her to change her gloves since she was in the garbage, she asked her manager if my bread was ok cause it was burnt around the edges.
