McDonald's — Restaurant in Georgian Bluffs

The service at this McDonald’s is some of the worst service I’ve ever experienced at a fast food restaurant.

I was asked to park to wait for my food and normally this wouldn’t be an issue expect for the fact I sat for 20 minutes and watched probably 15 other cars parked after me get their food. When I asked an employee what was taking so long I was met with confusion and told they would see what was going on. She then returned with more food.. again for every other car but my own. When she approached me again she the proceeded to ask me if I was a mobile order. I was NOT. She went inside one more time and when she returned again to give every other car their food but myself, I had finally had enough.

I went inside, mind you extremely frustrated at this point as I had been waiting 30 minutes for my food and was on a lunch break at work. When I asked to speak to a manager, it took almost another 5 minutes for one to finally come and talk to me.

I told the manager I had been waiting 30 minutes, parked, for my food. I was AGAIN met with confusion. I told her my order, She then proceeded to tell me me she had nothing on her screen or in her bin for my order. She THEN had the nerve to ask if I had paid. Clearly YES as I had been parked and was given my drink. She told the kitchen staff my order to remake.

When I finally got my food after 40 minutes of waiting at this point the only thing I was offered was a free donut. The attitude after such terrible customer service was one of the most insane experiences I have ever had.

So after my 40 minute wait to get my food, I return to work to find out that they had gotten my order WRONG.

I will NEVER visit this McDonald’s again or any in the Owen Sound area. The customer service is the worst I’ve ever experienced and it continues to be the worst. This is not my first time having a wrong order, missing item, or waiting 20+ minutes for my food at one of these locations.

A serious internal review needs to be had for not only this location but all of the McDonald’s in Owen Sound and surrounding areas.

McDonald's Chicken Burger and Soft Serve Ice Cream are a delightful combination that keeps customers coming back for more. Hands down the worst McDonald's I've ever been to - maybe the worst establishment, period. My family and I ordered breakfast and waited over 20 minutes for our food to be ready. In this time, only 3 people were served, and all 3 of those orders came back with mistakes or problems.

Our order was finally called and I had to argue with the woman at the counter for several minutes before she would give us one of the drinks we had ordered. (It was on the receipt, but she had to read it 4 times before she believed me.)

When we finally started eating, my mother found pieces of eggshell in her McGriddle, and my hotcakes had several small hairs in them. I brought the hotcakes back and pointed out the hair; the woman at the counter said "Oh" and shoved another container of hotcakes into my hand with a nonchalant "Sorry", as casually as if this happened every day.

Every single person working the front counter at this place seemed utterly unable to do their jobs - moving at a snail's pace, making countless mistakes, and speaking rudely to customers who just wanted their order correct. I'll certainly never be back here again, and honestly, it'll probably make me rethink going into other McDonald's...
