Osmow's Shawarma — Restaurant in Georgina

The food is excellent. The catering experience was something else. Basically they had completely forgot about the order we put in. When my wife went to pick it up at the selected time, an employee was at first confused and then told her they were just finishing up with the order and it would be done in 10 mins. It became clear that they had not even started working on it at that point. Wife waited a over a half hour for something she should have just been able to walk in and pick up. As mentioned, food was great but we will not be using Osmow's for any catering event...

The chicken was overcooked and the rice was raw. My husband choked on the taste of the hot sauce that the cook gave him on a spoon to taste. So the cook grabs an opened bottle of water from the back with 1/4 gone from the bottle and gave it to him. That was WEIIIRD. He took it to the bathroom and threw it away. Even prior to c19 that would be unacceptable. Does that speak to their cleanliness practices while cooking the food too?

I've had Osmo's in Scarborough and it's WAY better. The food wasn't impressive at all. But now it's the closest location....

I hate doing this, but I tried calling and couldn't leave a message.

I got a chicken Ozbox yesterday and within a matter of an hour or so I feel very sick with food poisoning. I don't know if it was the chicken or the salad (some salad had recently been recalled), but it was the only thing I ate yesterday and came on so fast it can only be that.

I don't want anything in compensation, I know mistakes happen but that was rough and if anything I'm just hop8ng product dates, storage etc can be double checked so nobody else has to get that sick...
