Theresa the cashier was so rude. I had requested to check the balance of my Tim Hortons card so that I could pay with it instead of cash and she just stared at me saying she could not understand my request and could not do that. Then proceeded in taking cash from my friend and yelled at me saying “Is there something wrong with you?!” (which completely came out of nowhere - never in my life have I ever experienced that behaviour especially while there are so many customers and workers surrounding both of us). She then left and hid in the back room for about 10 minutes; when she returned, I noticed her name tag was completely blank, interesting. I understood afterwards that this has been a reoccurring situation. VERY unprofessional and Tim Hortons you should be observing and evaluating your staff on a regular basis and this behaviour was completely unacceptable. Why am I reloading my card and using your services when your staff are yelling at me and creating a shameful environment when I request to use it. I was very embarrassed and taken back. Read moreFor the last month there has been a line right to the door every time we go. Most of the time though, they are quick, but today was a different story. We were right up at the front, just a couple people ahead, but no one is there to take our orders! Lots of people walking around though! I wanted a ham and cheddar sandwich. We were thinking about leaving lots of times, but again we were right there, just waiting on someone TO TAKE THE ORDER. So when someone finally did come, wow it was awful. First thing we asked for was A HAM AND CHEDDAR SANDWICH. Then we asked for timbits BECAUSE THAT WAS THE ONLY THING LEFT IN THE PLACE, the person taking our order wasn't listening or something. So I see on the screen my sandwich wasn't there, so I ask AGAIN. She just says "we have roast beef and cheddar", DID I SAY ROAST BEEF??? NO. So I got fed up with her and told her I don't want anything then and then she asks how are we paying! LOL. I told her we were leaving, there is nothing here. I'm fed up with this Tim's. Read moreI stopped by for the first time yesterday. 4 people in line, one waiting on the side for food. Out of nowhere a staff member (Kim) YELLS at a younger gentleman (also staff). She yelled that he “needs to slow down as she hasn’t even finished with making the previous oder blah blah blah…”. The customers just looked at each other like “what’s wrong with her?!” Then another staff member on the right side of the room yells “I just let em stand there and ignore em till I’m ready.” She was obviously talking about making customers wait while the staff finishes the previous order. The poor guy who got rearmed out - only his second day there. I hope he finds another job with respectful people who can run a professional and courteous environment. I’m honestly not sure if this was an issue but he was the only non-white there at the time - I’m not saying that was the reason for such abuse but it’s fair to say it could have been.
