Went back today after lunch to complain, walked up to a gentleman who's eyes were glued on his phone who identified himself as the the manager, after I explained what happened he very rude to me, telling me because I didn't bring the food back last night so he couldn't do anything for me, Regardless of what happened, he didn't seem concerned about the messed up order. He was very sarcastic and condescending in his tone to me. Even after I walked away, yelled out thank you to me.
I understand mistakes happen with food but the attitude of this manager was the worst part of it.
I went back and asked for the owner to call me through another manager.
I'll see if he gets the message to call. I doubt it right now. Food mistakes happen but having a manager talk like that to a customer is...
Read moreStopped for lunch on our way across the island in a skidoo trip to feed 4 adults and 5 children. Parked our truck and trailer at the rear of the building out of way of traffic as there is no clear space to park a truck and trailer. Instead of blocking 5-8 parking spaces on the side of the building. While enjoying our lunch with our children a very ignorant worker came to our table and rudely asked us to get our truck and trailer out of the way. We stated it wasn’t blocking traffic or drive thru and we would be leaving in 5-10 minutes again. She continued to be rude, ignorant and on a power trip saying it needed to be moved immediately. My husband had to forfeit his meal to go move the truck and trailer to neighbouring subway, who were more than welcoming to us using their parking. McDonald’s Grand Falls will not receive our business or friends business anymore on our many trips...
Read moreI dont usually criticize the service industry especially during these difficult times but I have to say that the McDonald's in GFW has gone down Hill in the past 2 years. Their lack of product (plain bagels) and wrong orders in the drive thru is more of the norm than the isolated event. As an example , just this morning I asked if they had any plain bagel and was told only Cinnamon for the umpteenth time. So I said ok give me 2 Sausage and Egg Mcmuffin meals please, coffee for both drinks with 3 cream for 15 bucks. I arrived home and in the bag was 2 Egg Mcmuffins. On one of the sandwiches there was no cheese and chicken sauce. So how does someone screw up the most basic orders. If this was an isolated event I would chalk it up to error but this happens more...
