TacoTime — Restaurant in Grande Prairie

We went thru drive thru. The man at the window was impatient and refused to listen to us. I held out my phone to scan the app qr code as the app instructs. He refused to scan it. He said,"You pay first. Then I scan." I told him it says to scan first, so he said,"Ok fine." He scanned, then told me,"It's not working. Says invalid. Gift card doesn't work." We told him its not a gift card. He ignored us. I got fed up and got our payment ready. We are moving, so tired and hungry, and watching where the money is going because we are paying dd & rent. I said,"I can pay $20 on debit and cash for the rest." He said,"No. It takes the full payment. Not less." And he pressed his hands against the window ledge and straightened out his arms to the full length while leaning on the window. The look on his face was scornful. I said,"Fine. I have $15 cash and I'll pay cash for the difference, then $20 on the debit." He said,"Ok. I take $15 then." I said,"Kay, fine, whatever!" Handed him the cash, he looked it over, then let me pay with debit the difference. It was very clear to me he would not understand and follow directions for me to do the math for him. When we got the food, I had to wait for him to come back again to scan the app on the phone for the points. Then I used my phone to scan the qr code on the window asking what their service was like. He immediately opened the window again. I told him,"I'm trying to scan the qr code!" He said,"What code? And looked outside the window--yes! His head turning through the window to see what I was pointing at!--and he finally understood as we yelled at him to close the window so we can put in a review! Then he apologized for "anything he may have done wrong" and backed up to let the window close. I ordered from here on Dec 31st 2021 and the 2 regular sized burritos had little to nothing on it. The meat was half of what I usually expect as I have ate here many times before. I also ordered a taco salad like I have many times before and it was a quarter full, when regularly its to the top at least. The bowl also only had half a teaspoon of cheese on it and super old and dark coloured guacamole. I payed $60 and couldn't figure out for the life of me what I was even paying for. I called to mention and they basically said "I think we did it fine so talk to skip the dishes". In absolutely no way is this skip the dishes fault the driver just picked up and delivered and that was the only part that went well on this order. I eat here all the time but refuse to go back. I will wait for the new Taco...

Ordered tacos, the lady who picked up could barely speak English, was incredibly rude and would NOT help us fix our order. As i am allergic to tomatoes, we forgot to put in a note to not add any so we called and were laughed at and mocked by someone who could barely speak english. NOT HAPPY AT ALL. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. just go to the one in the mall would be your best bet as to not get laughed at, mocked, or criticized by someone who can probably not even count to 10. Apparently you can make 14 tacos in literally 3 minutes. ABSOLUTELY REDICULOUS SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!! Edit: just got our food. Ordered 8 beef tacos, 2 rice, and 2 bean. They completely forgot the rice.
