55a Kaffee is definitely a staple of the cafe circuit in town. It's atmosphere is warm and cozy paired with delightfully friendly service. In terms of the quality and taste of their coffee, it is great. It's heavily European, which contributes to the strong, pronounced flavour of their coffee. The roast is on the darker spectrum, which really showcases the bold flavour profile. If you prefer a medium-to-dark roast, this place is definitely for you. Additionally, their menu selection is incredibly impressive, packing a wide array of mouthwatering desserts as well as other beverages. The overall standard they present is very consistent. A good choice any day in comparison to something like Starbucks.

How did I not know this place existed?! Tucked away in the back of the large but unassuming "tile place" (now Ingo Floor) behind Mr. Mikes, this little coffee shop is a hidden gem!! On the way in from the parking lot my husband kept saying, "There can't be a coffee shop in here!" Once you get to the door, there is signage, and the flooring staff are more than happy to immediately direct you to the magical archway that is the entrance to this European-inspired oasis.

The atmosphere is incredible, the staff is friendly, and the coffee is delicious. There is nothing on the menu that you will find at any other coffee shop in town! I absolutely cannot wait to return and try more of...

I recently visited 55a Kaffee and had an amazing time. The coffee is absolutely fantastic—rich, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The pretzels are a real treat, perfectly baked and delicious. However, it would be great to see a few more options for food and bread on the menu.
