Update: I decided to give this place another try and I made a serious mistake. I ended up getting food poisoning from the uncooked slam burger. Lucky my kids eat slow and I stopped them from consuming this garbage. I ended up puking all night and had an uneasy stomach for the next few days. If you crave Dennys do your self a favor and drive up to the Belleville location. I never had any issues there. I gave you guys one final chance and you blew it. Could of cost me my life. Food poisoning may be serious in certain circumstances, what if I was seriously ill with a disease with a weaken immune system. Shame on you. I am glad I got sick and not my babies. Avoid this location at all cost. Unless you do not value your health or family's .
Sadly this time we went this place is loosing its touch. My family and I have been here for breakfast many times and it's always been good food and service. This time wow it droped the ball. Our waitress was kind and fast even though you can tell they were under staffed. Our food came and it was a disaster. The potatoes were raw, bacon and sausage almost raw. My wife's plate a complete write off. We tried eating it because we were so hungry but couldn't. Afterwards my wife felt ill for the rest of the day. As we were leaving I noticed the sign saying highering all positions. So hopefully this was due to new or no staff. I don't mind waiting longer for Cooked food. Hope things improve for next time.
Update: manager reached out for more information regarding our visit after I answered the questions. Our conversation was over. I would think they would atleast comp our meal or offer us aleast a discount for a next visit. We will not be returning due to not making it...
Read moreAttn : Manager/ and or Server Amanda -Arrived around 6:30 this evening. We come here often lately as it's our stop from here to Nova Scotia. Usually, we have great service, but tonight, our waitress barely did her job.
Amanda was our server. She wasn't very welcoming, which is fine. We just want food. We were not checked in on after our appetizer arrived, and we finished. But the elder gentlemen who were seated with us was checked on and promptly asked how the food was.
Our mains arrived, and Amanda was gone before we had the chance to ask for anything else or mention if anything was incorrect. Thankfully, the food was perfect. We ate for 20 minutes and never received any service. I had to get up to ask for napkins, as Amanda was cleaning up even though it was 7 pm, and they don't close until late since it is a truck stop. The floors and cleaning procedure should be last. Customers first ALWAYS. We finished our food and had empty drinks now for our entire meal. We made eye contact, and Amanda finally came out. Water's were brought once we asked, but never asked.
We travel a lot. We review the good, the bad, and the ugly. One thing and this definitely relates to this review is the fact that you are working st a truck stop. Your 9/10 customers are long haul, truck drivers. They are away from home, away from their family, and have a hard go. The last thing a business should have is employees who don't do the basic description of their job and expect a tip at the end.

Like we ordered our drinks and it took legit 10-15 minutes for them to show up, like it looked like there was one person working while everyone else were off having smoke breaks every 5 minutes. Then our food comes and the one thing was missing which I get things happen but it just snowballs from the drinks taking forever. My friends eggs benny tasted off that she couldn’t finish her meal, they said it’s because “the recipe changed” well change it back then. My bacon also tasted off, they then again said “we changed our bacon” again… change it then cause clearly other reviews have said the same thing. My other friend asked for mayo and it was forgotten when the food came so the server said she would go get some but then she comes back to say that they are looking for some mayo. Like the server was new and couldn’t find a manager or someone else to ask where it was she had to wait for them to get off their smoke break to get the answer that they didn’t have any mayo. The whole experience was just weird, not blaming just our server because she tried but the communication isn’t good here.
