Iām so done with Eastside Marioās - I say that every time and every few years I decide to go back and itās the same crap. Service is always out of sync. They never come at the time they should. They didnāt come to check to see how our food was, though we asked for our food all at the same time it came at different intervals. Now, usually these things donāt bother me, but when you add it to the price of the food and the quality of the food we got- Iām done trying with them. Thereās a picture in the menu of what we ordered that I posted & next to it was what we got, which was a cold, tiny piece of chicken Parm that look like it had sat on the counter all day and when I asked the waiter, why are lasagna (which only had one tiny taster bite from me in it)didnāt look like the one in the menu, he explained that itās made different so after some questioning, he confesses that The lasagna is indeed from the childrenās menu. Everything except the fettuccine was cold in that plate. We got chicken wings that look like somebody stepped on them before they cooked them -in the pictures the chicken wings all broken, but we didnāt do that. I picked it up and it was like that - every time I go there thereās always the Romaine hearts left in the salad like how hard is it to take the stump out and this time this Caesar salad was so bitter, Iām positive it wasnāt washed thoroughly. Iāve worked in restaurants many years and even in the ones that I would say that were the worst still did a better job than what I got and what Iāve ever gotten in the last 15 years from Eastside Marioās. Itās a shame because Eastside Marios used to be so good so amazing and the prices were reasonable for the quality and the service was good even if they were behind it was because they were busy, but as we sat there next to four tables loaded with garbage that didnāt get cleaned till we were on our way out -When they werenāt even at half capacity, probably not even quarter capacity itās just disappointing. I officially give up. Thereās no way they can bring me back. Unless they decide to overhaul and change everything on their menu as far as quality- I took my daughter there for lunch just a month before to share a pizza (which I always remembered as being the best thing on their menu) I was surprised to see a different. Rust than I expected, when I asked the waitress if they changed the menu because it looked different she explained to me that because I ordered the same pizza I wanted, but at lunch it was made with a different crust . So now Iāll never get pizza there either because I wonāt know what kind of head games theyāre playing and if Iām gonna get what I want .
Iām never going back. My advice is save your money. Buy some groceries because even if you put something in the microwave, itāll be better than anything Theyāre gonna give you. I guarantee you I am not the only one who feels like every time they walk out of there. Theyāre unhappy...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI arrived there at 1230 with my daughter. We sat for over 1 hour before we finally got our food. Everything was cold and the noodles on my shrimp. Fettuccine were not even cooked, they were still hard. They took it back to remake. And remarkably, we got it worse. I had ordered the chicken parm, not overcooked. The chicken was to be undercooked. The noodles were so hard you couldn't even eat them. Once again, the manager was called, he done nothing, he says. Oh, I'll take it off your bill. Meanwhile, we never even had a bite of it so that would have been really nice that he did that if we had ate .60 mins later We leave with nothing to eat. Our pop has turned into water. At this point, the ice had melted. It was the worst experience I've ever had at Eastside Mario. And the manager at first didn't even have this decency to come over and speak to us. He just brushed it off, basically finally he came over and said. Don't worry, I'll take it off. But once again, we had nothing to eat 80 minutes later. I have to go to another restaurant. I don't know what happened to the restaurant industry but I must say it was totally disgusting. There was hardly anybody in there. But 4 cars on the outside on a holiday Monday. I am going to contact head office tomorrow regarding this incident. My time is valuable, I'm not sitting there for 80 minutes and having it wasted. And to have nothing in return. The manager didn't even basically operas nothing else. But to recognize the meal again. It had already been cooked twice at this point and still couldn't get it right. If anybody else has any issues, please log under my info and feed. Feed me some of your remarks and your results. Now I know why I don't go out often anymore. They might as well close the door to just do. Take out for everybody, because that's about what it turns out to be. I am not from this city but I wish I had read the reviews before going there. Usually I go to lot 88 where I really enjoy their food. I have to say from reading the reviews. The place was disgusting, and after each comment, the manager puts contact him. He should be doing more on hand when hes there. He was sitting around the bar the whole time. Not moving around or doing anything. Or checking on anybody, maybe you should do more. Customer service, so you don't have these issues, show your face and speak to the customer and awesome how things are, and maybe go in the kitchen once in a while and look what they're doing. Was there around 7pm on Saturday May 18th⦠walked in and had to wait a few minutes so they could find a server that they could free up so we could go on the patio which is understandable⦠sit down and was told a waitress would be right with us⦠10 minutes later one arrives and asks us what weād like to drink⦠again said they would be right back with our drinksā¦10-15 minutes later.. a different waitress came out with a beer but not the other beverage⦠so she rushed back in and grabbed it⦠only for the original waitress to come back out with low and behold a second beverage that was already brought⦠so sure thatās fine things can get a little crazy especially in the evening but it wasnāt busy at all, half the booths were filled and barely anyone else in the building⦠we order our food and I think it took about 45 minutes to get everything we ordered even the appetizers took around 30 minutes which were only mozzarella sticks and wings⦠not to mention that they forgot the Cesar salad that was supposed to come with the wrap that was ordered and I never received my chicken Cesar salad until asking where it was lolā¦. lots of young staff so again I get it but with how cold anything hot we ordered was it seemed as if we were forgotten⦠as others showed up on the patio they were getting great service from what I had observed⦠even both the salads were soggy and pretty bland for the type of restaurant⦠also was unaware that free fresh garlic loaf wasnāt a thing anymore??? But also could have just been the disregard of the waitressā that night. It was nice to at least get out on the patio but that was honestly the only good part of the experienceā¦. For anyone who sees this. Save your time and just go to the one in the south end. The experience was not worth the 70$. I could have got something from Uber and had a better experience sitting on my tailgate for half the price.
Might I add the table wasnāt even cleaned that they sat us at nor did they bother to clean it when there was clearly food matter left from previous guests left all over it šš¼šš¼
