I ordered two veggie burgers with double veggie patties. I said both veggie burgers will be the same. The attendant asked me if I can make it a meal. I added toppings and condiments. Now everything was done. She asked what do you want in the second burger. I said both veggie burgers should be the same. Then I said that I have a coupon 2 for 11.99. So previously they applied the coupon and I moved to another window. This genius asked me is this coupon for hamburgers? I said I ordered veggie burgers already. She asked what do you want on your hamburgers. I said I told you already I need only two veggie burgers. She said $40 and I was surprised that there was something wrong. At the window a young man told me to pay 40 plus dollars. I told him that the attendant made a mistake. He was very polite and got back to me with corrections. In the back a woman in her 50s was constantly nagging and arguing that I could hear very clearly that I ordered 4 burgers. She was so mad. I asked the gentleman what's going on. He said its ok. Suddenly an old stupid man came from behind that polite young man in the order window and moved him and yelled at me that he heard that you ordered 4 burgers. He raised his voice and then argued. He left and I got my order. I asked for a receipt to give my review about that woman who was still nagging and arguing in the back and looking at me. The young man brought me my both receipts in seconds and that old stupid man came again to the window and very loudly yelled at me and my husband "Go, leave , move your car, there are 9 cars behind you". We were all surprised how dare he yelled constantly at us. He threatened to come out and went to the side door and put his hand on the handle but didn't come out. My husband called him f word because enough was enough. We moved our car as I told my husband not to become part of that stupidity. I am very disappointed that for the food that I paid, I and my family was discriminated and insulted. It was all attendant' fault and she should be getting the training. BTW that attendant also wrapped 4 slices of pickles in a paper instead of putting inside veggie burgers. That old man should be questioned how dare he yelled at us, threatened to come out. Very...
Read moreEvery time we try and eat here the staff close the store early by 1-2 hours depending on the day. They are ignorant and rude. Don't let you complete your sentence before cutting you off. Majority of the time the burgers aren't made correctly when going through drive through, which is pathetic because you literally tell them how to make it basically. They leave their open sign on every single time they close early or make no effort to make your meal. (not putting the bun on properly so the cheese just melts to the paper, we watched them pour gravy for poutine from a cup stores on top of the serving counter with no lid or cover on it and it was completely cold etc) They roll their eyes at you and make you feel like you are an inconvience to them by trying to order food. I understand it is "fast food" but a meal still costs $15+.
We went last night at 8PM they had a piece of paper taped to their window saying "closed @ 2pm due to weather", okay understandable. We drove around the drivethrough to see 3 staff members inside the store playing on their cellphones but yet they closed @ 2 pm due to weather and they couldn't even bother to turn off their open sign.
Will no longer waste my time going to this location instead I will drive the additional 10 minutes to the Lasalle Blvd where the staff are always friendly and the food is...
Read moreUpdate: A Field Operations Specialist acknowledged this review and took immediate action to rectify the situation. I’m beyond impressed and grateful with their steps to remedy my concerns. Thus, I’m changing the review from 1/5 to 5/5, to show my appreciation and reflect my love for this location’s food (because it really is delicious).
I love Harvey's and this location's my go-to in town. However, their unprofessionalism and disregard for safety tonight is making me consider changing to the LaSalle location.
I was in the drive-thru tonight and there were over 10 teenagers, fresh out from prom, who were congregated in the drive-thru, and apparently placed their orders. The employees didn't send them away and actually served them, so I had to be very careful since I was behind them. They were walking all around, going in the trees on the side, picking themselves up, taking selfies, etc.
It's a DRIVE-thru, not a WALK-thru. The fact that the employees took their orders and served them, then didn't even acknowledge it when I pulled in, was astonishing. What if something had happened and the truck ahead of them reversed by accident or I accidentally accelerated? It's not just about making money, it's about the safety of the drivers and especially the teenagers. We shouldn't be enabling this type of...
