Should never be allowed to reopen and serve the public, I certainly hope entire Management staff and whomever is in charge of the kitchen was fired.
Niagara Region said Bogey’s Grillhouse did not meet the following requirements:
Food is protected from potential contamination (e.g. food covered, labelled, off floor, sneeze guard); Proper sanitizer test kit is readily available for verifying concentrations of chemical sanitizers; Food is processed in a manner that makes the food safe to eat; Food premise is kept clean and maintained in a sanitary condition; Cold holding is adequate and maintained at 4°C (40°F) or lower; Floors, walls and ceiling are well maintained and in good repair.

Read moreI was at bogeys last night and i ordered the sunday special which was southern fried chicken. When it came to the table i noticed that there was a hair in the chicken so i informed the server and she took the dinner and went back to the kitchen to get another plate made. The server was amazing. When the dinner came out the chicken was really dry. I could not eat this meal. The server apologized like crazy and we kept telling her that it was not her fault. All this time a manager did not come to our table to talk to us. Which leads me to believe that the manager doesn't care about there customers experience. I then called on monday to talk to a manager and i got the answering machine so i left a message asking for a manager to call me to discuss this situation. We went because we used to like their fish and chips pre-pandemic - well, they've changed their recipe and they're even better! Incredibly light batter and flaky fish. Fries are fine, nothing to write home about, but a nice seasoning of some sort sprinkled on them. Very good tartar sauce and coleslaw too (next time will request more coleslaw and fewer fries). Expensive except when on special on Fridays! Other items on menu looked quite tasty, will have to go back and try them. Wine selection is marginal, 4 of the 5 red options were Niagara and the only California option was really expensive. I'm such a huge supporter of local business but just don't have the right palate for most Niagara wines, so always appreciate other options. Fabulous...
