I wish I pulled out my phone fast enough to take the picture of the disgust face on one of the female employees. Try to see her name but she didn’t wear any name tag. She was not happy to work there obviously, I’m sure not because of overwhelming of overcrowding customers, because everyone was so patient to wait and friendly chatting. Just something about her, the attitude crawling out from her, was not pleasant. I always stopped at this location when I am travelling, I know how busy and crowded, I was prepared to wait and enjoy my way back home, but this time, I was “amazed”!! This is very first time I would ever wrote anything about negative experiences about Starbucks, since I am a Royal customer, wherever I’m tracking in different countries, Starbucks is always my first choice to go to. But this girl (no name tag) is really giving me some disappointment. This girl was giving me a not pleasant look when I asked where is my lunch order because I only got 2 of my drinks, but I placed my order on my Starbucks App plus I was waiting in line to washroom for more than 15 mins… The reason I asked because I only saw my drinks but I thought I missed the food items! She could just kindly tell me she has forgotten, but then she gave me the look and turned away and started warming my food…. Sorry but what the heck, I would never really expect this...
Read moreThis place is in a new retail area near Q.E.Way. and 50th Avenue, Grimsby. After five minutes waiting at the counter, with one couple searching for directions and five staff looking at me, I was amazed to hear the server ask a new entrant to the coffee shop, "If she could help her?" As I had been there so long, I asked if I could be served first. The others just looked, except for a young person who said, "You will have to line up." I was upset by this time and my wife said, "Let's go. They are useless!" The new person who had entered said for me to go first. As I had been in the store for almost ten minutes before her, this was nice! The young person who had been showing off his "power" for the other four girls, decided that I could be served. Eventually, after much complaining, he, "The Manager (that's a joke!) served me himself, with a small coffee and charged me a king's ransom for it. I took it and left, to the cheers by several other patrons who supported me! During my subsequent trip to Niagara, I threw the coffee away as it tasted as if he had put something nasty into it! (Again, he was probably showing off to the girls!) Never again. No more Starbucks for me if they higher such...
Read moreI have been coming to the Starbucks since I moved to the area in September 2023. Unfortunately, it is the only Starbucks that is convenient for me to get on my way to work. Every time I come here I remember why I hate this place and I regret it instantly. I have never been in the drive-through line without waiting minimum 25 minutes. I have come enough times to know that this is not just a one off. Furthermore, I have tried to do in store ordering or pick up and it is the same problem. I am always waiting around way too long. Lastly, the parking lot is horrendous and always so complicated to get an the parking lot is horrendous and always so complicated to get in and out of regardless, if you are parking or doing the drive-through.
