(EDIT) : Bumping up my rating because this business clearly cares a lot about their craft and their customers. It's really cool that they do their Christmas giveaway to everyone in the community as well. I'd recommend giving them a visit!

TL;DR : Great Samosas (Especially if you like some heat). Good portions for a good price. My personal subjective tastes did not find it as enjoyable compared to prior experiences.

Review Criteria (In order of importance to me)

QUALITY: Obvious care has gone into the food. I really enjoyed the samosas though they were a bit spicy for me (BUT I AM WEAK). The one dish I was particularly excited for was the Saag Paneer, but sadly it fell a bit short for me. It was a bit on the bitter side, which I'd never experienced before eating this dish. The other selections I made were flavourful, but once again not exactly my preference. The lunch special overall though was a great value for the volume of food. Naan was fresh and exactly what you'd expect.

PRICE: Good value for the portion.

SPEED: It was average for takeout (approx 15-20min).

STAFF: Friendly &...

Our family had ordered some Dhoklas and Potato Wadas for family event and we were handed the responsibility to pickup the order.

It was still early and the order was not ready and was ready in a few minutes after. The tray full of straight out the fryer Wadas and freshly tempered dhoklas. Surprisingly the dhoklas were vegan (made without yogurt or buttermilk)

Couldn’t resist picking up one Wada and splitting into quarters for us to taste them in the car right there. The Wadas hit and perfectly spiced for an Indian taste buds. The outer chickpea flour cover with spiced potatoes inside. The spice also a hint of sweetness that speaks to the Gujarati style of spicing thing you.

The dhoklas when tasted at home were spicy even for an Indian taste buds and the tempering had too much oil (way too much). Normally the dhoklas are not spicy at all, but I think the chillis in the tempering were spicy and the dhoklas turned out way too spicy for many in the family (except me, of course). But the over greasiness killed the experience for me. Most of the pieces...

There was a metal STAPLE in my food!! We ordered through uber eats delivery, and when we removed the lid I saw what I thought was a long piece of an herb or something but it was a metal staple!!! I immediately called the store and the manager was nice but didn’t seem to take the situation with as much severity as I believe it deserves and blamed uber eats, despite the staple being in the food under a plastic covering. He didn’t ask me for any details of where the staple was found, which dish, etc. This is concerning because I’m not confident that 1. They cared, 2. That they checked the rest of their batch of food. It was in the white sauce. I knew I’d have to request a refund through uber eats so I wasn’t calling to ask for anything other than to let them know it happened, and felt very shrugged off. I’ve ordered samosas and apps from here before but this was our first time ordering a meal. Thank god that no one was injured and the staple wasn’t ingested. I’ll never order from here again. Be wary of any food...

The restaurant has declined in both quality and value. For my first order as a appetizer the should serve me the fresh spring rolls but instead of that they use frozen food, and on my second order, the portion sizes were smaller while the prices remained the same. The food quality was noticeably worse, with bland flavors and poor textures. Moreover, we were the only customers at your restaurant at that time but still you took 30-32 minutes to serve us. We were your customers from your last location at eramosa but after such a worse experience we are not going to return back or recommending anyone for the high prices and disappointing meals.
