Pizza Pizza — Restaurant in Guelph

Ordered a pizza via the Pizza Pizza app on my phone. Went to have a quick shower as I live just down the street.

Got there and stood in line for a simple pick up. 2 workers and who I believe to be a manager just stood there and looked at me. One worker walked right by me and didn't even acknowledge that I was there – he then proceeded to go into the back and was not seen again. The man in dress clothing also walked right by the counter and then returned back to the kitchen.

Finally, the 3rd worker after finishing everything he was doing before even uttering a word to me or the group behind me in line – came over and took my request. The entire process of checking me out took a single minute, while I was waiting for at least 5 minutes while the pizza I'm assuming got cold. I got the pizza after paying $20 for a medium size, then returned home to watch a movie. I got about half way through the pizza in a few minutes (I was hungry :3), and had to place it into my oven to heat it up again.

Pizza taste was actually not bad, but customer service needs improvement. I don't mean to be a complainer, but I noticed these problems when I moved to Guelph 10+ years ago. Nothing really seems to come from...

Absolutely not sure why I was charged $49/- for one large pizza and ten wings two pops! Who pays $50 bucks for one pizza and a small box of wings. The cashier didn’t give us the receipt even. The most frustrating thing is when we entered this branch of Pizza Pizza for our order pickup, we noticed that there were so many deals of $11/- or $14/- family pizza deals that the person at the counter could’ve offered us when we’d made the order on call?! We couldnt believe our bill of almost $50/- with one box large pizza and smallest size of wings. Trust me not the greatest feeling for a two topping pizza! While our order was being ready, I went to the bathroom and was appalled to see the most disgusting toilet ever! Cmmon guys you can do a better job by keeping the environment in your restaurant clean for its valuable customers and not blame it on the school kids who’ve left your premises almost 4/5 hours ago! We didn’t like anything extraordinary that I’d like to review otherwise, pizza and wings were like any other...

I'm not sure big on Pizza Pizza as a chain. They seem kinda cheap. So I don't come here often.

The only reason I went this time was because my friend had a ticket from seeing the Toronto soccer team play. Apparently if they win and score three points in a game your ticket becomes redeemable at Pizza Pizza for a free some of pizza. And it worked. The guy working the counter took the ticket and gave my friend his slice.

The pizza is alright. It's not good but it's not bad. I had the Mediterranean Vegetarian. I'd prolly get it again if I decided I was going to have Pizza Pizza.

Typically the locations I've been to are very messy and sticky. This one was no exception. This is prolly my biggest gripe.

The guy working the counter at this location wasn't really nice. Maybe he want having a great day. He just didn't seem into it.
