Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Guelph

I am a very annoyed customer as I tried to place an order through the website and my credit card kept being declined. It kept telling me to try again and then showed a message in a box that disappeared so quickly I was unable to read what it said. I tried altering the method of payment, it would not let me. I even tried to add another credit card and again it wouldnt let me do so. My wife even said, she could not use her visa card last time she ordered, she had to use her master card. After 3 tries I finally called my local store to place the order over the phone. I ordered it and told them there were issues with the website and I wanted my order delivered.

After waiting over 40 minutes, I called back and was informed they had my order set for pick up. Nearly an hour later and I am still waiting for my order. This means I am still without my order nearly 70 plus minutes of waiting, plus I am going to be charged a surcharge for the use of a credit card in person. The store made no apologies and I am very annoyed about this. We order at least twice per month, sometimes more often and to have this happen!

I called the store again at 6.30 pm, I was told my pizzas will be there in next few minutes. I told the store, if my pizzas were not in my hand within 5 minutes, I would refuse them.10 minutes later they driver called me. I refused the order as I had already placed an order with Dominoes in the last 5 minutes. I was so fed up with waiting.

I am absolutely appalled by the service I have received. I choose Pizza Hut over dominoes as I find the pizza to be better. After this shambles and diabolical attitude and mishandling by the store, I am considering whether to carry on using Pizza Hut or not in the future.

I sincerely hope you take this complaint with the seriousness it deserves! I am not just an average customer, I am a returning frequent customer! Not mentioning I even order more if I am having a staff event.

You may think this is petty, yet as a business owner.... If I treated my customers the way I was treated this evening, I wouldnt have any...

Worst location ever! Service and staff suck! I ordered a pizza online about (2 hours before) and then drove to the location to pick it up. When I got there, no one came to the front counter for at least 10 mins. And when someone did show up, he made me pay for the pizza immediately instead of checking to see if it was ready, and then acted like he was going to get it but didn't after I had already paid. I waited for another 10 min before he asked another staff member about my order and from what I could hear them saying to each other, the order wasn't ready. So they didn't say anything to me but one guy snuck into the back and started to make it (like I couldn't see what was going on). I waited for another customer to be served before I demanded a refund because I couldn't wait any longer. So the guy at the counter said he'd give me a refund and I waited another 10 min so by that time the pizza was ready and they gave it to me. No apologies, not even a free dipping sauce or drink for my troubles, nothing! Not to mention there were a bunch of other people who were waiting for their food that they also ordered online and had yet to receive. DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION! If you live in Guelph go to the location on Stone Road much better service! *A side note: I guess they were super short staffed and had their delivery man helping with the orders and boxing the pizzas for delivery, he looked extremely dirty from head to foot and was not wearing proper attire to be...

I had a disappointing experience at this location. The person taking my order didn’t seem to be listening at all. I asked for a pizza with half pineapple and half chicken, and specifically requested that it not be cut. What I received was half pineapple, half pepperoni, and it was cut.

I went back to let them know about the mistake, and while they did remake the pizza, the second one was clearly done with less care. The toppings were not only fewer, but they were also poorly placed, just clumped in the center instead of being scattered properly.

It honestly felt like they were upset that I brought up the issue and intentionally didn’t put effort into fixing it properly. I usually enjoy Pizza Hut, but this visit left me clearly, really disappointed.

Won’t be recommending this location. Terrible...
