Pizza Trokadero — Restaurant in Guelph

Great pizza, lousy service. When I called for a timed delivery, it seemed like the lady taking the orders was not interested in my directions whatsoever, even though they need to be specific to get to the correct door. They called back to verify the company name and I told yet another lady the exact same directions, even though she seemed even less interested in them. 10 mins after the delivery time, I receive a call from the driver who could not, for the life of him, follow directions whatsoever. I tried my best for about 10 mins to get him to leave the front parking lot and come to the back, eventually having to go out to the road and direct him into the correct driveway. Since it was 20 minutes late now and we had all lost our lunch break waiting for the delivery, I offered to pay approximately 87% of the bill, which I thought was fair but he declined and told me to talk to the manager. I paid the full price and walked way, the driver then did a burnout and peeled off angrily. I called but the manager had "gone home already", not that I expect much but he should be aware of how incompetent and rude his driver was, we'll see if he calls back.

Update: No callback, 1 star, will never go back or recommend...

I have some of the most picky eaters in my house. Well, tonight it was my turn to choose the pizza place and I’ve always wanted to try this place…. Boy oh boy am I glad I did! We got three gourmet pizzas and all three were incredible! The Egg-Elicious is eggselent, Grilled Chicken was amazing, and the other (can’t remember the name as I am currently in a food coma, but it started with De ….) was incredible! All three HOT (heat hot) and all three different flavored pizzas, are all gone!! Picky eaters destroyed ‘em!!! The Bad thing is, no lunch left over for tomorrow…… definitely will order again. I've tried to order for 2 days now. They were closed an hour earlier than they advertised the first night. When I called the second night at 7:45 I was told they were only doing pick up, but that they were closed? so that also wasn't an option. Would really love to support local places right now, but unfortunately with sporadic hours and closing before 8 pm for both delivery AND pick up is really hindering this for me.

We might try again, but probably not because of this.

EDIT: ordered pick up, and the staff was super friendly and the pizza was delicious. Hours aren't ideal, but we will definitely go back. We like our pizza well done so the crust looks burnt...
