Where do I get started,

First of all the food is not cared for when being prepared for the customers, the chicken skewers left a disgusting amount of grease on the plate and it looked like the seasoning was just dumped on it to call it a satisfactory order. A total of 8 chicken skewers came and we tried to eat them but due to how gross they were we had to let them take four back to throw it out. This incident here led to the waiter telling us that we had to pay $6.99 extra for four pieces of dog meat. It was atrocious. He went back and forth with management over 5 times and different waiters to confirm to us we were paying. After finally demonstrating some logic and valid points we did not end up having to pay for the dog food.

Next, the servers would constantly leave our table unattended for too much time as our dishes constantly kept piling up. Even when we asked for water the server still would not take the dirty dishes away as if it was suppose to be us, the customers, job to ask before they were to leave the table.

Dessert... Hahah what a joke... At an all you can eat sushi restaurant I was limited to two scoops of ice cream. What makes this funny is because one of the people I was with only ordered one scoop and I asked for his second scoop and they denied it saying it was not my dessert. Of course my friend was more than willing to give me his second scoop but because of this terrible establishment I only received two scoops.

Last thing I can say is that, the waiters were totally not experienced as we constantly needed napkins. a they would only serve a napkin one by one making our experience a crappy one.

All in all if you're feeling sushi and don't want gut rot and grease belly after you're done eating I suggest go to any other sushi restaurant...

Warning to parents: they charge you for your babies eating any food at all. We came here for dinner with 4 adults and 3 very young children (ages 3, 16 months and 14 months). It was very quiet for a Friday evening, the atmosphere was lacking as it looked like the restaurant was not maintained and was mainly providing takeout. The service was fine and the food was fine - adequate and standard AYCE sushi fare. We noticed that the server seemed irritated by our children, even though they were all sitting quietly and we were the only customers there. At one point, my friend’s 1 year old dropped a fork on the ground (because, you know, she’s 1), and the server immediately swooped in to snatch it and say “that’s disgusting and dirty” as she picked up the fork. We were all kinda like, umm okay? We were floored when we got our bill at the end. $45 per adult (expensive for what it was but fine), $20 for the 3 year old and $5 for each 1 year old. $20 is pretty steep for a 3 year old and I’ve never been charged for my 1 year old at any other AYCE sushi place or buffet. We asked about this and they said “they saw the babies eating noodles off our plates”. We argued these charges and they brought the 3 year old’s price down to $10 but told us that the money is going to come “directly out of their own tips,” as if we were personally hurting them. We still tipped 15% to be polite, but the manager stood there with her arms crossed, seething at us, as we got up to leave. It was such an out-there experience that we convened in the parking lot after to discuss. Needless to say, we will not be back. A generous 2 stars because the food was fine and the...

I have been here a few times and each time the experience is different. The wait time for food tends to be moderate to 20 minutes. The food is usually good. The portions fair. It is displayed well. The issue I normally find is the staff. Their customer service and satisfaction appears less important then them just serving your food and you paying and leaving. I get apprehensive about voicing any negative feedback to the staff or manager as they never seem concerned with wether their patrons are happy or not. Anytime I've asked a server a question about portions or why I can have my bill when I asked for it because they wait for you to finish everything before bringing your bill ...they bring you the manager. All the manager does is make you feel ridiculous for asking. The one I've felt with is younger and just doesn't care if your happy or not there's no flexibility with solutions. My Last visit I accidently selected an item I didn't want when It came out I asked my server they walked away and came back with the Manger he said I ordered it so Its mine. He charged us for the item seperatly I didn't even bring it home as it wasnt something i would noramlly eat. I often go back thinking it will go smoothly this time and it doesn't. I would give this place a 4 star rating if the management actually cared about their customers. But after the last visit I don't care how much I like the food the manager needs to brush up on how to treat patrons...

DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU WANT AYCE GO SOMEWHERE ELSE ! Average sushi nothing special including their specialty food items taste like you can get them at any sushi place inside shopping mall, did I mentioned you have to paid for all drinks except for tap water which is free. The owner of this establishment haven't figured out yet liquid drinks of any kinds is cheaper for them than foods. The waits staffs are surly about their jobs they made decisions for your party's order if they think you cannot eats all the items you select they withhold them until you ask them where the rest of the choices you make and why they haven't arrived at your table yet. If you ever visit Toronto go to Ichiban sushi ayce located inside * Splendid China Mall * this restaurant serve grill soft lamb chops and specialty sushi rolls not find in other restaurants included in your dinner 7 days a week and free refill fountain soda drinks this is my # 1 Sushi restaurant in Ontario

If you are wondering "YES" Wsushi is back.. It has a new team of owners and a new staff. Our experience last night was a pleasant surprise, and a little hesitant at first. The atmosphere is the same except for a new mural on the wall, the staff are new to the serving arena but very pleasant and have the will to please. If you go to Wsushi with the thoughts of the old place and expect the old way they cooked and presented the food, you will be disappointed. This in my opinion is a good thing. We found it a breath of fresh air and a new lease on the menu. Yes they have kinks to work out but as like all new places they have a passion to survive and hopefully you will give them a chance as I think they deserve it. We will be back for sure.

My favorite sushi place for sure! I honestly couldn't give it a 5* till now because of the poor service on our previous experiences, but our last Sunday early dinner clearly wiped off all the bad memories. Tip: don't go during their peak hours, servers get distracted and tend to forget to come by. Now most important part of all, the food is always crazy fresh and delicious. Try to keep away from the deep fried items (tempura anything) or at least try a small portion before filling up your table with them, frying oil wasn't very fresh on our last trip there. Even with these little "off" bits, they still get my 5*!!
