Service was amazing, they were there to help.us with the menu and gave us recommendations. When they noticed we were getting low on rice and naan they were there to ask if we wanted more quickly. We felt taken care of. We went sometime between lunch and dinner which was great because it was quiet and not overstimulating with a lot of chatter. The food was really delicious. It felt succulent while still being light. We ordered the veggie pakora, chicken korma, butter chicken, rice, and garlic naan. The service was quicker than we anticipated and they were on the ball. I think we were eating in under ten minutes! I'm a big fan of the flavour and they were able to customize the spice level to our liking! The garlic naan is a must try. It was thin and had an amazing crisp while still being fluffy and pliable. We will definitely be back to try more dishes from the menu!

We loved the Bombay Cafe, which was in this location for decades, and we were sad when it closed last year. The Saffron Restaurant opened in that location a few weeks ago, so we decided to try it last night. It’s great! We both had a thali, which provided generous portions of delicious food including a little dessert (gulab jamin) in the middle of the plate. Their naan is some of the best we’ve ever had! The owners/staff were very friendly and helpful. The only reason I gave the atmosphere a 4 is that the ambiance is pretty stark—perfectly fine but not really cozy or refined. Lots of takeout business coming and going in a pretty small space. Other than that tiny thing, I highly recommend this place!

This little hidden gem has a welcoming and cozy atmosphere. The staff are lovely, and the food is delicious and authentic. To celebrate Diwali, my son and I ordered tandoori chicken, Karachi paneer, chicken tikka masala, veggie samosas, and masala chai, and they gave us nan and rice to accompany our meals. We loved every bit of it all. The tandoori was the best we’ve had in Ontario, and the Karachi paneer was out of this world…the nan and samosas were so fresh and tasty! My son loved his tikka masala too, and the chai was so much nicer than the ones we’ve had elsewhere. Food tasted like home-made.

Editing and adding a 5th star for service. Also for catering I’d give it 10 stars. Ordered last minute for a work breakfast where everyone comes off shift at 7 am and they like a meal vs breakfast food. Requested for 35 people and asked them to select with vegetarian options. 4 hours later it was ready! They packed it super well to the point that it was still warm even after being refrigerated all night. The food got rave reviews from everyone and will definitely be our go to for future events. Original review: Have been to Saffron in Cambridge and loved the food there. Saffron in Guelph doesn’t disappoint! Generous portions of very well prepared and delicious dishes. We went for mild/moderate spice level and should have gone up but I like things spicy, but still a great spice level as was, flavours on point. Will go again maybe next time to eat in so I can give a full review. There are very good Indian restaurants in the south and west end of Guelph. Finally we have one closer to the downtown. Pakora - exceptional. Beef samosas - excellent. Chicken jalfrezi - very good. Karihi Gosht - order again and again. Naan was...

★★★★★ Amazing Authentic Indian Cuisine!

We had an incredible dining experience at this restaurant! We tried the Aloo Kulcha, Malai Kofta, Lassi, and Tandoori Roti, and everything was absolutely delicious. The Aloo Kulcha was perfectly crispy on the outside and stuffed with flavorful, spiced potatoes. The Malai Kofta was rich and creamy, with soft, melt-in-your-mouth kofta balls in a luscious gravy. The Lassi was refreshing and perfectly balanced in sweetness. The Tandoori Roti was soft and had just the right amount of char from the tandoor.

The service was friendly, and the ambiance made us feel right at home. Definitely a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Indian flavors! Highly recommend! Lastly Thank You so much Sharan. We will...
