I ordered two gluten free pizzas from this location last night after a friend recommended it very highly because they know I am celiac and very sensitive to any wheat products. The pizza was hot and ready when I arrived to pick it up, the cashier was pleasant and I left and enjoyed the pizza with my partner soon after. Early the next day I realized the pizza was clearly not prepared in a sanitary space free of other wheat products, thus cross contaminating my order. I will spare you the details of how terrible my day has been and what the next few days will be like for me, needless to say, my weekend is effectively ruined and I will be in bed and calling in sick tomorrow. I, like many other people with celiac disease feel the residual effects for upwards of a month, this has undone all the hard work I do to avoid these incidences. Dietary restrictions need to be taken seriously and I'm sure their staff have been trained on proper food prep procedures so there is no excuse for this lack of attention to detail. I will not be...
Read moreI LOVE Pizzaville. It was my "go to" anytime I was craving a pie.
Today, I placed an order to pick up a couple of gourmet pizza's as well as a deluxe around the noon hour.
While I'm waiting for my Pizza to come out of the oven, I noticed one of the staff casually walk over, take two containers of Creamy garlic sauce. Opened the container and poured it on fresh dough to make a fresh pizza. The employee was scooping the sauce out with his finger, trying to get every drop out vigorously . I saw him do this for both of the containers.
I was so turned off what I witnessed, I won't be ordering pizza from that location again.
Yes, I understand - pizza is made using your hands (with our without gloves) I get it. What I don't get was why not use a utensil when possible? The action just seemed unnecessary and unsanitary. There must have been a better, and more hygienic way...
Read moreWe went here for take out pizza's, since the reviews on tripadvisor were quit good. After arriving, the menu wasn't clear in-store. Online the overview is much better. Then it took about 30 minutes for the pizza's to be ready, which was a longer wait than average for a pizzaplace. We chose the Italian and chicken rosemary pizza. Both of them were topped with a lot of cheese and the other ingredients (more important ingredients to us) were low in quantity and quality. Also the pizzabread was very thick and salty. Our stomachs got upset with these pizza's. Unfortunately, no Pizzaville for us again. Visited...
