Starberry Cafe — Restaurant in Guelph

This cafe was SO cute and nice! Found it by chance and decided to give it a try. The food was excellent and we were so surprised to learn that everything was made in house, including the ice cream (my personal favorite). We tried the chocolate Gelato, egg sandwich, beef Kimbap, and a slice of Boston cake (didn’t taste it myself but my friend had it). Everything was really good! Especially the Gelato and kimbap. Price is also good (especially considering the quantity and quality). I would rate everything a 9.5 or 10 out of 10 except the Boston cake (cuz I didn't try so I don't know. But from my friends response, probably a 9 at least as well) and the egg sandwich (maybe a 8/10).

The owner was super nice as well. We came 30 minutes before closing but he didn't rush us and let us take our time to decide, order and enjoy the food. He even took some time to chat and see how we're liking everything. Thank you for the great food and service Bonggi! (I hope I remembered the spelling correctly 😅). We'll be back for more yummy treats 😋🥰

What a lovely little cafe! Definitely one of Guelph's hidden gems.

Ordered: 3 berry smoothie - creamy, sweet and very berry flavoured. A little runny for a smoothie, but it tastes really REALLY good. Red velvet cake - moist and savoury. Better than your average cake, and the slices are generously sized! Strawberry gelato: To my surprise, it's made in store! It definitely tastes like its 30% fruit - the sweetness isn't artificial tasting at all, I want to try all the flavours now!

The store itself is very cute and clean, I can't wait till I can sit inside. The husband and wife who run the cafe are so pleasant and friendly. Will return to try their Korean meals!!

UPDATE: Returned to try their beef bibimbap and I was BLOWN AWAY by how good it was! I really cant describe how delicious and comforting this bowl is. The whole really is greater than the sum of it's parts!! You just gotta give it a chance. The dumplings were also very tasty, BUT TRY...

Was in the area to get my car fixed with my wife we decided to stop by this place that we've never been too. We both got breakfast i got eggs and bacon and she got a BELT sandwich and they were both so good and tasted so fresh. In fact it was so good that the next day after we picked up our car from repairs we went again haha and the quality was still the same. The only small downside is they don't serve water when you get a meal but have water bottles for $1.50 or they let you bring in your own water which is what we opted for but not a huge deal but something people should know if they are looking into this spot. They serve breakfast all day and have lunch/dinner options as well we only had part of there breakfast options. The place is family run which great, has some tables if you'd like to sit. Overall a great spot with great fresh food and I'll be stopping by anytime I'm in this part of this city and looking for...
