The fried fish with brown sauce had the skin on but it was slimy not crispy and it (along with the, as expected, bones) needed to be removed before consumption.
The general's chicken, as warned upon ordering, was cut up pieces of chicken breaded, gristle and bones included
The BBQ duck was the same as the previous two; bones cut along with meat inro pieces, not crispy (perhaps the Beijing duck which requires 24 hours notice is the peking duck I hoped for), and the fat was not fully rendered.
The sweet and sour chicken was typical, perhaps a little less flavourful but no real complaints.
The chicken fried rice and egg roll were both fine.
The Cantonese noodles, which I didn't try, were somewhat burnt according to my brother.
The buns, which I didn't try, looked quite good and got the highest praise from the others at the table but we received 5 instead of 6.
I didn't try the Cantonese noodles or buns because I cannot eat pork and there weren't descriptions on the website so I didn't want to chance it, it wasn't for any thing about the appearance of the dishes.
