Armdale Yacht Club — Restaurant in Halifax

Six of us went for Sunday brunch, the service was very slow although it was not very busy (lots of empty tables). Cocktails served fairly quickly but took well over 30 minutes just to get a coffee. Three meals came cold and had to be sent back to be microwaved and still only lukewarm on arrival. All hashbrowns were undercooked and medium steaks came very rare. I booked the Armdale Yacht Club for a Grad Party ( evening). Everyone could not have been nicer and sweeter. It was an absolute pleasure to plan a party with them. MaryAnne is amazing and so is everyone that works there. Chef Andy deserves all the accolades for the cuisine. It was all delicious ( and I’m a super fussy person about all food ). This is a hidden gem of Halifax. Not loud, very decent, old style restaurant, feels like you are sitting on some cruise. Lovely view. Perfect for a date night.
