Chocolate Lake — Attraction in Halifax

I am disappointed with the beach and lifeguards. We visited it with my 5 y.o. and wanted to spend nice relaxing time here in hot day, but it didn't happen. The parking can't accommodate the people, so you most likely will have to park on a street, which is expected in Halifax; it's quite crowded in here, which is also expected off course, but there were several things I didn't expect to encounter here. People are smoking here, on the beach; they also have alcohol.. when lifeguards saw someone smoking, it was 5:55pm. They came to this person and said: "you can't smoke here, we are leaving in 5 min, just wait 5 min"... Completely disappointed. I give 2 stars, because there's a small playground near the beach. We will not be returning here. I would not...
