I can't believe the person who rated it low because many of the flavours were sold out! hello, that's a great thing because they make it fresh, in house when needed!! It also shows you how well they are doing and it is always great when a local business is thriving!

Amo opened late spring and I've had many visits here. There gelato is amazing. If you love peanut butter their peanut butter gelato is an explosion of flavour! What dreams are made of.

If you are more of a tangy person the limone aka lemon 🍋🍋 is their best fruit gelato. I love the the sourness of it and it's perfect for these hot summer days.

Other flavours that I've tried: salted Carmel, strawberry, raspberry, coconut, birthday cake (hugely popular with the little humans), tropical fruits and hazelnut. ALL GOOD!

I've also tried their coffee roast, not bad but not as great as their gelato.

It's packed on the hot summer nights and the decor and atmosphere is fantastic. Support this new local spot on Locke Street! I promise you won't be...

I always make it a point to stop by Amo Gelato whenever I’m in Hamilton. I live about two hours away, but it’s absolutely worth the trip. I usually go for the sorbet flavours, and honestly, this is some of the best ice cream I’ve had in all of Ontario.

Having tried gelato in Italy, I can confidently say the texture and presentation here are remarkably similar it really brings back those European vibes. I do miss their classic mango vegan flavour, but the Mojito and Oreo were both excellent. Smooth, refreshing, and perfectly balanced. You also don’t need to go into the GTA to enjoy some!

I almost forgot they also sell family-size containers for take-home, which is perfect if you want to enjoy it later or share with others, which is a plus.

If you’re anywhere near Hamilton, don’t miss out on this spot. It’s a must-visit for any gelato...

Price is good, product is great, just wish service was better... can be over whelming going to a new place with todlers and trying to keep everyone happy. Server was not willing to put two flavors in a cup unless we got a bigger size, if she took the time to explain it was only $1 more i would of agreed, but didnt want to give the kids a bigger serving of dessert and went back to request a sample of a different flavor and was denied so had to purchase an additional cup but turned out to be delicious at least. Once again great product but the customer service just seemed far from satisfactory. More ideal for adults looking for a nice dessert while out on a walk. hidden...
