Booked online for an order pickup at 6:00pm on New Years Eve. Received an email at 4:30pm saying that my order was in process of being made, and that I needed to ensure I was there promptly at 6:00 for pickup.

I arrived shortly before 6:00, and proceeded to wait three hours outside in the cold for them to get my order out. Three hours standing outside on New Years Eve.

There was zero communication to any of us waiting outside.

People who had pickup orders at 7:30pm, were getting them at 8:00pm, while several of us waiting outside had been there as early as 5:30pm. Orders were not being processed in the order of their pickup times, they were not being prepared at the times according to the only email correspondence I received either.

It wasn't until 8:45pm that I was able to speak to someone, and ask where my order was. Only then did they tell me they were making it, but only had one of the dishes prepared, and needed more time to finish it.

Three hours sitting outside in the cold waiting for a food order that was supposed to be picked up at 6:00pm, and the communications from August 8 indicated it was being made at 4:30pm, is not justifiable, regardless of how busy they were. I watched skip the dishes and uber eats ordered being fulfilled quickly while people who actually did pick up orders themselves waited.

I won't be returning to August 8 again.

Edit: Your response doesn't give me any reason to return and try again. I still will not be returning to August 8 again. There was ample time for you to prepare for that influx, and ample time for you to triage and prepare orders in the order in which they were to be delivered. None of that happened.
