We had a girl's night planned and the birthday girl decided to choose cause and effect. I've been before and have enjoyed the food and this time it was the same experience. The place was pretty quiet inside as we had at 8 PM reservation. So when the waitress sat as close to a door that was open to the patio I didn't think anything of it but as it got darker it got pretty cold sitting there. The waitress could have easily placed us at another table like I said it was pretty empty inside so I was a bit surprised she placed us so close to the patio and it was cool that night. She was very friendly and polite but did forget to bring over the vinegar to the table for my best friend which isn't a huge deal but it wasn't busy so I'm not sure how it managed to slip her mind. But she was a great server all in all. I had the cause-and-effect crispy chicken sandwich with fries also for a starter we had the 5 cheese spinach dip and the brussel sprouts. I don't drink alcohol but my friends ordered some drinks and they were a bit slow with getting them. I'll say again the place wasn't busy so I don't understand how some of the things were a little off with the service. My boyfriend ordered the chicken Caesar salad as her main and then my best friend ended up getting the chicken wings with fries and veggies with blue cheese. Asking my friends they all enjoyed their meals as well. Will definitely be back when it's a bit warmer so we can enjoy the beautiful patio and try some other things off the menu.

It is a difficult task to find the right words to describe this place. Right from entrance I was in love with the decor and design in this place it looks incredible! We had Julia as our server and might I say this girl is one talented server probably one of the best I've ever had. She was knowledgeable about the restaurant and the history behind it she had great recommendations and she was very fun to talk to. The menu is very unique and very creative, we ordered one appetizer and two mains and we were 100% satisfied with everything that came out. We were treated with 2 desserts chosen by our wonderful server which were incredible just like everything else in this restaurant. I would/will 100% come back here all the time, if you're driving by or need something new to try head right in and don't look away this is the place to go! I'm sure all the servers are lovely but if you want everything to be perfect ask for Julia! Thank you to everyone at the restaurant for a wonderful experience and keep doing the great things you guys are doing can't wait to be back! Thank you Julia for your astounding service.

Second time there. Not impressed at all. If we didn't have a couple of vouchers I would have been super angry. And I would have returned our meals I should have anyway.. We did all voice our displeasure to the wait staff (politely) but nothing was said to rectify it and that was before they knew we had the vouchers for two of the meals. So, all four of us ordered eggs benedict So 8 eggs they had a chance of getting right. Every single one was overcooked.. See pics. Eggs benedict yolks should be running unless ordered otherwise. It's the yolk mixing with the Hollandaise sauce that makes a Hollandaise sauce so rich. Ruined whole meal. And actually it was 10 chances.. The gentleman at the next table also ordered en eggs benedict meal.. He refused to even eat his (also overcooked.) Sent them back. No the restaurant was not crowded or busy at that time of day. Not that that would be an excuse but sometimes makes it a little more understandable. We were the first four people in the restaurant that morning. Sorry but even taking into consideration the vouchers.. We won't be returning.

It's a great place, with a huge variety of drinks and food with some twist. We tried the famous nachos and that were delicious, with a twist. We booked a table before going and would recommend doing that always as this place is crazy busy. In summers they have indoor and patio dining and the domes are only available in winters (that's what I was excited about).. The music was crazyy and it seemed like a pub of Toronto downtown.. I didn't like the service and kind of felt unwelcomed there. The server was always in a hurry and after we finished eating she just brought the bill, which we didn't ask for. We felt like after we had the food, we should leave as there were other people waiting for table but we wanted to spend some time there and continued ordering drinks. I saw the reviews which said the service and servers are great and I didn't feel that way. May be it was our server, or may be she's new.. Washrooms are clean, there is parking, there is security, it's wheelchair accessible, the location is beautiful and the music is lit. I would love to go again.

We were drawn here from the nice cocktail and unique dishes on menu. We had the baby nachos, big Mac tacos, sweet chili Thai wings and the baked garlic shrimp. Baby nacho is perfect for sharing. It has a little bit of everything in it such as Nachos, waffle fries(my fav),taters and this other nacho shape chip(texture is similiar to taco Bell's cinnamon twists). Even the baby nacho is pretty large so be aware of that before considering the daddy nacho(the large version) The Big Mac taco is the way to go if you like Big Macs. It comes in three and taste just like McDonald's but better. The flavour of it is bolder and the meat/bun/sauce ratio is spot on. The wings are cooked right and not overly seasoned with Thai sauce. The baked garlic shrimp was delicious. The size of shrimp were large and when having it with the toast dipped in the sauce it's a beautiful thing. Enjoyed the visit here and would definitely drop by again the next time I'm in Hamilton. Patio looks great and would love to dine out there when whether permits.

Woow what an experience and what an amazing service! I drove about 1 hr to get here (made reservations before coming) and found a lot of parking space. The gentleman at the entrance welcoming customers (unfortunately didn't catch his name) was very welcoming and friendly. I loved the dome dining (the highlight for me) as it offered a safe and comfortable experience. Angie was our waitress/server and she was amazing. She is super sweet and checks up to ensure everything is going well. I tried the pistachio Dijon salmon and the calamari. I loved the touch of sweetness in the salmon. I got it with pilaf rice and asparagus, which was a great pairing. The sauce that came with the calamari was the best and the calamari was delicious.
