I used to go to this location pretty often as the food tastes great and it was decent service. The quality of food hasn’t changed, but the customer service is awful. I went there not too long ago with my boyfriend who identified he had an allergy to tomatoes before ordering and at some point they managed to put them in there and he consumed it unknowingly. Luckily he doesn’t have the WORST allergy in the world, but still broke out in hives and had terrible stomach pains. People might say, why didn’t you notice they put tomatoes? If we order something and inform the staff of an allergy, it isn’t our responsibility to supervise their every move in case they mess up. They should take it seriously if they care. It didn’t help the situation that the young woman making his food was not friendly what so ever.
I went in tonight to give it another chance, as the last time put a bad taste in my mouth, and the service has only gotten worse. There was a male and female behind the counter - the female was early 20’s and the male a middle aged man with an accent. He was rude with the customers before me, responding in ways like, “Yeah, I heard you.” He was just as snippy with me as well. He asked black beans or pinto? I said black. He said pinto? I said black. He put pinto on and i had already been waiting 20 minutes in line so I dismissed it. We continue with the toppings and the lettuce ran out. We skipped that and continued with the rest and instead of grabbing fresh lettuce, he went back to the barren container and decided to scrape what he could out of it WITH the same gloves he had on from the previous order and after touching the ipad. It’s covid for goodness sakes. I wasn’t pleased with that. No sense of cleanliness, especially during a pandemic. Then he asked if I needed a fork, I said yes. I cash out, said no to a receipt, and then I said may I have the fork? He sniped at me saying “Well that’s why I asked you.” If he misheard me or didn’t hear me at all, that is NOT how you respond to a customer. A simple, my mistake, and hand the cutlery over. To boot, I get in my car and notice he forgot to even put beef in my burrito, which is what I ordered. Totally unimpressed. This place needs to have a higher standard for who they hire, because every person crawling in there for the last 6 months has been unpleasant and has no idea of what the fundamentals of customer service are.
The only reason I’m giving 2 stars is because the food is good, but the experience is so poor every time that I won’t be...

Food: 4/5...just another fast food "burrito" place Service/Customer service: 3/5 Not that I expect any better, but I've had better at other "burrito" places. Value: 2/5 Overall: 3/5
I rated value lower because the amount of $$ you pay for a burrito or a bowl doesn't reflect what you get. As most things these days are relative, I compared my experience to a famous "mexican burrito" franchise (abbreviated BB...I'm sure people will figure it out) and honestly barburrito is more expensive and provides less value for the amount you pay. The bowls itself are quite large, but when they're not even 75% filled, it doesn't give you a good feeling. When the customer ahead of me has to ask for extra lettuce and burrito sauce three times because the employee just doesn't wanna give extra sauce or lettuce, it leaves something to be questioned. I understand we are in COVID times and every business is struggling, but they should be filling their bowls to at least give proper value for the money. I don't know if it's a franchise issue or just a training issue. I wasn't satisfied when I came home and had my "meal". It wasn't much of a meal. With so many options within the same plaza, I think they'll have to get their act together before people start exploring their options within the plaza to get...
Read moreI have to admit the food at bar burrito can be delicious and quite enjoyable at times . I found that the tacos are not made nearly as neat as other locations , this specific location has alot of red flags for me. The first thing I noticed is very rude staff , when you ask them why the portion is so small they huff and puff or say something in there language to the staff member beside them, the portion the franchise owner gives out is not normal. I ate at lots of bar burrito locations and its like night and day. They charge you extra $4 for a half of a scoop of un cooked chicken.. its really sad and they are making the other locations in this franchise look terrible and cheap as well. The employees are rude and seems like they dont know how to smile or greet you when you walk in the store . I would not recommend eating from this location and hope the owner can take some time and train his staff to be more professional and also learn how to make the food properly . I wish you guys luck but you will not get my buisness...
