Came to Chuggy's for dinner on a Friday night and it was a great time! It was very busy and crowded so make sure you make a reservation if you want to secure seats. The staff were super kind and attentive and the atmosphere was amazing! Most of our group got the fish n chips (the special for the day). We also got a wrap with soup and cheese balls. I got the Cajun shrimp. Portion sizes were huge! Fries and garlic bread come automatically with most menu items. Food tasted homemade though I think lacked a bit of flavour. For example, the fries had good texture but could use more salt. My cajun shrimp was salty but had no cajun flavouring to it. The cheese balls were great though! Overall, a local favourite with great atmosphere, service, and portion sizes.

Definitely going back. We went for Sunday lunch. Server was very attentive and the food did not disappoint. Had burger cravings so Swiss mushroom and banquet burgers were ordered. Patty was good size. Bacon was thicker than most places. In all, flavour of patty and condiments came through. Ordered fries with gravy on the side. Gravy was much better than anticipated. No need for ketchup. Only suggestion is to cook the fries a bit more. Edir: Came back and we had reuben with gumbo soup and chicken and peameal Panini. Service and food were top notch again. Posted picures of menu and food publicly.

I spent all day in the office, planned to leave early, but it never happened. Grid lock traffic from Oakville to Stoney Creek. The entire commute all I could think about was pickled vegetables. Finally got off the expressway and Goggle deep fried vegetables near Stoney Creek. Guess what popped up!?! Chuggy's. Had 7 casual after work pints and...... some deep fried pickles. Best deep fried vegetable that's hit my mouth since the Tillsonburg Beat Fest in '09. Just like their deep fried pickles Chuggys is cool crisp on the outside and fire on the inside.

We recently tried Chuggy's as a family and we really enjoyed it, It was a bit busy but we got a table for 5 pretty quick. The food was great, and the staff was even better. I don't remember everyone's names but we had multiple staff helping us all night. Tori was great.

My daughter ordered Pancakes bacon and French fries for dinner and ate most of it, good size portion. My 10yo daughter had a kids cheese burger fries and a few boneless wings. She didn't want to go here once she tried the food, she has had me bring her again on wing night, she loved the burger and wings that much.

My wife and sister in-law split Nachos which was to much for them to finish and was a second meal the next day, as well as 15 boneless wings. I had the Canadian burger which was good and 5 boneless wings.

Now there are no free refills on pop, but the cup is so large that i didn't need one and i sometimes a a few at other places.

again we have already returned and will again to try all the homemade food, the family wants to try the meatloaf and the roast...

I wasn’t there long enough to accurately measure the service bartender/waitress was friendly enough didn’t take too much notice of atmosphere. Ordered 5 lb wing for take out to watch the game with 3 friends we all thought the wings were waaaay over done I mean wings are supposed to be tender and juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside these were crispy all the way through “disgusting” the meat was so over done it was hard to chew l would recommend the owner reconsider the cooks employment there I mean how hard is it to cook wings. I’ve never eaten at Chuggies before and probably will never eat there again if the kitchen products are this sub quality who ever made these wings should be ashamed to send them out I will be contacting the manager/owner whoever is in charge and giving them a rundown of my experience almost $70 with tip and tax for a product that should have gone straight to the garbage! Also the review asks what dishes I recommend, where is the...

First time trying Chuggys, coming from North York where there are a TON of char/ flame broiled burger spots I was really craving some char burgers.

I'll be honest, while the burger tasted really good and had that charbroil taste (delicious), it's a shame that it's on a frozen patty. For what you are charging your customers a fresh burger patty won't actually bankrupt you and would actually have more of the char broiled flavour than the frozen garbage. I upgrade my fries to onion rings and they're good, classic Cavendish Onion Rings done right. But again for a frozen burger and onion rings (I love Cavendish so I actually prefer it) the price is just off. 10-12 bucks for something like that would be more appropriate rather that the 18-20 that is currently being charged.

I really highly suggest using fresh patties rather than frozen patties as that would really make the burgers stand out even more. It diminished the craving though, so I'd say I'm...
