City shawarma and grill — Restaurant in Hamilton

This is easily one of the best shawarma spots in the city, and, in my opinion, the best on the mountain. I used to be a regular years ago when I worked closer and I was finally able to get back in today.

The food was just as good, maybe even better than I remember it. The owner is friendly and seems to honestly care about the quality of food and his skills in the kitchen. You can see a difference in how he prepares his salads, dices his vegetables, seasons his food. You do not see this very often in shawarma spots around the city.

You can't go wrong with the shawarma and rice plate, but, the wraps are amazing too! I've also had the shawarma poutine and shawarma pizza in the past and could recommend those as well. I always get the fattoush salad. Don't forget to throw in some pickled veg!

Today I was craving shawarma but wanted to make sure it was low carb. I searched for placed around the area that served shawarma salad and found this place. I was THOROUGHLY surprised at how delicious and filling my salad was. The portions were beyond what I expected. My friend for the shawarma poutine and loved it so much. She really loved the garlic sauce that went with it

I was very happy about the service. Everyone was so friendly and as we sat in to eat out meal, we couldn't help but be so surprised that the people who worked there were on a first name basis with the majority of their customers. It really shows how much they value their customers.

I look forward to going back and bringing others to this place. This was a rare gem that I recommend everyone try. I'm a very happy first time customer and will definitely be a repeating customer in...

Best falafel in the city!!! And one of the best falafels I've ever had.

I've been looking and trying different places in the city, for a while now, searching for a delicious authentic Middle eastern falafel. FINALLY found this place. There use to be a delicious falafel place on king st, near james, but they closed down yrs ago and ever since I've been looking for somewhere to match their deliciousness 😋. Once I ordered and went down to the food counter and seen those little diced seasoned onions I knew I was on to something good. Not to mention the fact that they sell their sauce by the bottle so you know it has to be good :) Seriously the FRESHEST ingredients. Sooo sooo good!
