Mr. Grande Pizza — Restaurant in Hamilton

Yesterday I ordered 2 Grande pizzas for my brother-in-law's birthday celebration to be picked up at 5:30 in the afternoon. Both pizzas were steaming hot ready for us when we picked the pizza up. The birthday celebration started at 7PM and continued thru the night. When I was getting my second slice of the pizza I found a piece of hair (short and curly) not just on top of the pizza but in between the cheese and the dough. Well, I was so disgusted and confused of what to do, so I talked to my husband and he said we would talk to Mr. Grande tomorrow because it was too late to complain that night. Today, we called Mr. Grande and we were not pleased with how this person on the phone dealt with our concern. We were just verbalizing our concern and not asking to replace that huge and expensive pizza or any returns from it. We were hoping an apologetic gesture but instead a defensive remarks, "we wear hair nets all the time here", and "why are you just telling this now?". (Hair could be coming from else where not only from the head). My family and relatives are valued customers of Mr. Grande each time there's birthday and or any family gathering, we go to this pizza parlour but after this incident we would not be doing any business with them, especially after how unpleasantly we were dealt over our phone...

I have been a longtime consumer of this pizza. I always thought it was a great solution to large family dinners. We were so excited to try the Steeltown Chow pizza and we usually order our pizza well done. After we drive across the mountain to pick it up we got home to find out the underside of the pizza was burnt so badly you couldn’t bite through it. They also gave us less wings than advertised but don’t bother complaining if you’re unhappy. These guys gave me the run around for a week and never fulfilled their promise to make any of this better. They offered a refund at the time but when I called back to talk to the manager they revoked the offer. It is what it is when you pick up a giant pizza from Mister Grande. Too bad the prices have gone up and the quality hasn’t. Disappointing.

This pizza place is not good. First of all I walked and bought 2 jumbo round pizzas both with 3 toppings. When I got home I noticed the pizza was very Burt on the bottom and the toppings were minimal and the cheese was almost not there. I was expecting a much better pizza but what I received was garbage, I called back to complain and was hung up on. Also I was lied to by the person there I asked if they deliver to Brantford I was told for certain orders. Now I find out they don't even know I am 26 minutes away and I am sure the have a heated insulated pizza bag. The only way I will ever deal with them again is with a fully free meal replacement of both pizzas

UPDATE IT'S LITERALLY BEEN MONTHS LATER AND NOBODY EVER OFFERED ME 2 FREE JUMBO PIZZA...
