There is a stereotype goin on and becoming a meme on the internet that “if you come to a Viet or Asian restaurant in general, they gonna throw your food to the table and long gone after that and don’t care about ur experience”. Well, I can ensure you guys that this place is completely different than any other Viet place you can find anywhere around GTA. Been to the store the other day, the store decorations very nice, and their service are AWESOME, the server keep asking me and the wife if we doin okay, do we need anything(sometimes too much hahahaha, but its okay tho, we know that they taking good care of us). I cant really see the reason why they got 4.8, supposed to be 5 hahaha. We got pho, and their Pho was the best pho compared to those place around here. They using the bigger noodles, which is the right one, same as people make pho in Vietnam. There broth is also good, me and wife didn’t feel msg at all. And seen like they also using good quality meats. Compare to some other places around, they are a little bit pricey tbh. But with everything we been thru there, IT VERY WORTH IT, trust me!

🌟 Tao's Google Restaurant Reviews 🌟 Saw the reviews of this place and knew I had to try this place. This restaurant opened last year and I would say it's one of the best Viet restaurants, a hidden gem in Hamilton. The ambiance and atmosphere of this restaurant stood out right away, very modern decoration and hip Viet music playing. The tea that they serve is a hot, warm Jasmine with roasted rice tea, which set the stage for our meal. We ordered the handwrapped spring rolls in which they give you spring roll paper and you make your own with the assortment of meats offered. Extremely delicious assortment with barbecued meats, beef wrapped in betel leaf, shrimp, and sausage. It was a huge amount of food for two people and super worth. We also really recommend the fried Tofu, lots to rave about, crunchy and served with a sweet sauce on it. The service was great, staff was very friendly and the food came out quite fast. Price was very affordable and for some of the best Viet food in Hamilton, super super worth it. 🍲Food: 5 🧑🍳Service: 5 🍴Atmosphere: 5 FINAL SCORE 5/5

Great atmosphere, very beautiful inside and out. The service was good, only wish our server mentioned that the plate of raw meat was for my wife's dish, not mine. The waiter brought my dish to the table and asked who's was it, when I said mine he put both my bowl down and the plate of raw meat and noodles. He never mentioned that the plate was for my wife and her dish was coming soon. This made me think the plate was for me so I poured the noodles and meat into my bowl because what I ordered mentioned something about rare flank. My wife's dish came out in another few minutes and the waitress was surprised and explained the plate was for my wife not me but I mentioned no one told me. It worked out as I just gave her some meat and noodles from my bowl. But it would have been nice to not have to guess what was hers and mine and divvy it up after the fact. Other than that the food service and atmosphere we're all excellent. The servers came around frequently asking if everything was okay and if we needed any more water excetera. We will be coming back for sure.

Had a lovely dinner with our toddler here tonight. This was probably the best Vietnamese food we move had in Hamilton so far. We ordered the grilled pork and spring roll dumpling Bun which was exceptional, the chicken pho, the pomelo and shrimp salad and a beef appetizer. Our favour it’s was the bun which had all the fixings, a very crispy spring roll and well done flavorful pork. The customer service was very polite and accommodating and the restaurant looks great, kinda high end actually which makes it great for a nice weekend family dinner or a date. My only negative feedback is that although the pho broth was amazing and the noodles well cooked, the chicken topping was very dry and firm. It still had good flavor and quantity but the texture of the chicken was a bit of a miss. Not worth taking a star off though since everything else we had was near perfect! Highly recommend a visit. Will definitely go back to try their coffee.

We came by Em Oi for a family dinner a couple weeks ago. The restaurant is nice and bright and the seating is nicely laid out for a nice dinner. To start we had the squid and chicken wings The chicken wings were decent. They had a nice sweet and savory kick to it and the fish sauce gives it a unique tang, which is enjoyable. The squid was okay. Similar to most places and quantity seemed on the low side. It didn't quite have the spice and zing that I'm used to with this dish. The crispy noodles we had were okay. Simple in taste but nothing special and lastly the shaking beef was very similar in flavor to the squid seasoning. The beef cubes were not too tender. Overall, I think the fusion cuisine is okay but there's nothing that impressed me in the dishes we tried. Maybe we didn't order the right dishes but personally I would not want to come back as there are Vietnamese restaurants nearby that are cheaper and more authentic.

Last Saturday, we dined at Em Oi Restaurant, which boasts a 4.8-star rating on Google. Intrigued by the stellar reviews, I suggested to my husband that we give it a try. The location is convenient, with ample parking for guests. The kitchen staff were impeccably dressed, and the restaurant’s decor exuded warmth and coziness. The servers were exceptionally polite and friendly. In summary, I now understand why the restaurant has received such glowing reviews. Even in the absence of the owner, the staff maintained a high standard of service. I highly recommend the dishes, particularly the bò lá lốt and bò né with bánh mì. However, the standout of the evening was the Em Oi waffle ice cream. Although we were quite full, we couldn't resist dessert. The waffle was thick, large, and delightfully crunchy, topped with generous scoops of taro and vanilla coconut ice cream, and drizzled with caramel. Absolutely delicious!
