My wife and I were here last Saturday Jan 18 2020, we both got ourselves a cafe latte and a blue berry and lemon scone.

The latte was quite good, my wife drank hers without any sugar, while i needed to added just a bit. The scones were warm and tasted quite good, They were also light and flaky and were not to sweet.

The lady who was in the store talked to us about her dogs, told us about how the store has live music on Tuesday, something my wife and I want to attend.

SHe told us how her coffee is fair trade coffee and is ground in Hamilton by another Hamilton establishment down the mountain. Something that made me happy to hear.

The atmosphere was quite cozy, it is not a huge space, but the store utilizes its space well to make sure it is not cramped.

I would recommended that everyone try this store at least once and judge...

Shady Grove Lukaya Cafe is a cozy, eclectic spot with a friendly, welcoming vibe. Julie, the owner, named the café after her daughter, Lukaya and you can feel that family owned touch throughout.

The decor is charming and unique shelves of teas, mismatched teacups, and a relaxed, hippie-inspired atmosphere. They serve Relay Coffee, and the baked goods are delicious the biscuits are huge and worth trying!

With free Wi-Fi, front window seating for people watching, and even Tuesday Open Mic nights with live music and poetry, it’s a great community cafe A lovely place to stop in for a treat and enjoy the warm, personal atmosphere

There is a baby changing table in the washroom, which is a bonus Paid parking or street parking free around the...

I got really bad vibes here from the moment I stepped in, but too late to turn back. The energy is just chaos. Knick knacks and other things everywhere, including the bathroom. When you see it, you'll understand what I mean. It wasn't a positive experience. The 2 servers had sour vibes coming off of them as well. Idk, maybe they didn't like me. But a cafe is a cafe, it's for people to come and drink coffee in a relaxed atmosphere. Great selection of teas though, and the banana/chocolate bread was the best I've ever had. Price is good. But the negative atmosphere was too much for me. Maybe just a...

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had an amazing experience at Shady Grove Lukaya Cafe! We ordered a cappuccino, a hazelnut latte, and a vanilla latte — all of them were absolutely perfect. The taste was 10/10! The ambiance is cozy and filled with charm, with many small articles, a piano, and lots of unique decor that adds to the vibe. The prices were very reasonable, making it a great value for the experience. Overall, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. I’ll definitely be adding this to my list of favorite spots. Highly recommend!

Love, love, love this place! The vibe and decor are amazing. Café hopping and exploring new cafés wherever I go is my little hobby, and today I chose to work from this one……and I’m so glad I did. I was a bit worried about the WiFi, but it worked perfectly, so no issues getting work done. The décor is stunning, the coffee is great (food options are limited but decent), and parking is super reasonable, $1 per day or $6 for unlimited. I’ll definitely choose this spot again whenever I’m in the area!
