We ordered a large combo that came with probably four pounds of wings or so we had two pounds done in there honey and two pounds done in the medium. The order also came with a big box of fries and a big container of coleslaw.

Now we ordered online and it indicated it would be 20 minutes till pick up. At 20 minutes we arrived at the store they said they were still preparing the meal and gave us a buzzer to wait in our car. At 45 minutes I went back in to ask how the order was going. I had been warned that service could be a bit iffy but that the quality of the product was worth it. Indeed the quality of service was iffy. When I went in at 45 minutes they pulled our order out of a heat box that wasn't heated and it had been sitting in there for a while. They didn't seem at all concerned that we had been waiting and the order had been basically cooling off.

When we got home the fries were mushy barely warm and the wings were as well.

The thing is mushy and barely warm fries were still so tasty I was amazed I thought we'd be throwing them out. If this order had been fresh it would have been incredible. Even in the shape it was in though the food was very good and I highly recommend.

I would have given five stars for the quality of the food except the service did take away from the rating. I was fully aware to expect the service but was still somewhat caught off guard. Honestly it's a shame that such good food is held back by something that's readily fixed. I say that because this location comes with a reputation for service issues.

I hope this helped both for people looking to go because the food is definitely worth it. However I also hope it can help the managers in regards to the customer service issues to bring this up to a exemplary...

Ordered (online) family pack of non-breaded wings on New Years Eve. When I ordered them, there was no message telling me that there would be a delay. The message said that the wings would be ready in 20 minutes. Drove to pick them up 20 minutes later. I had to wait in line for 45 minutes just to get in to the establishment to pay for my order. (No problem, it was new years eve, everything was busy.) When I paid, she handed me a beeper and said they wouldn't be long when I asked how long the wait was. I stepped outside to wait with the others. I waited with the beeper outside for additional 1 hour and 15 minutes until it went off. When I went in to collect my wings, I asked the girl if they were for sure non-breaded. She looked at them and told me that they were breaded. I told her that I'd ordered non-breaded and she looked at me and said, "Well, they're breaded." I had to ask her again if I could get what I ordered. She turned and went to the back. No telling me how long, etc. I waited another 20 minutes. She brought a box out and gave it to me, saying they weren't breaded. Got them home, now over 2hrs after the site said they'd be finished. They were the smallest, overcooked wings I'd ever had. They were awful. I was so surprised because that store always has great wings! Overall, I was extremely disappointed with the lack of communication, the quality and service. I'll think twice before I order from there again. I have to give two stars to my last experience at red rockets , I’ve been ordering from upper Ottawa location well over 15 years the wings are always good but it’s the girls at the desk that are the issue though the years I’ve been going there they had great people taking orders and not so great , don’t get me wrong they are nice taking the orders but sometimes they dont listen, example, I got an order I call in , girl asks how can she help me politely, and I ask for a pick up order she said ok what can I get you , I said I would like a single order meal pack with fries and I didn’t want breading or sauce on my wings and I only wanted celery sticks, then she asks me if I want fries or coleslaw or onion rings, but I already said I want fries before, meal pack comes with fries, then she asked what sauce I wanted , i already said I didn’t want sauce, I use franks hot sauce and put on myself, so I picked it up paid get it home and the wings have breading but no sauce on and carrots which I asked for celery, I can understand if the place is busy and orders are flying around but the place was empty my order was the only one there , the manager is great he always fixes the mistakes but it’s getting tiresome especially when they can see your order history on the computer either they don’t care or they are on a...
