Spurs Roadhouse — Restaurant in Hamilton

Went here with my hubby and daughter. It was a cute little spot we thought we'd try. We ordered wings, and I had a burger as well. I got my burger before the wings were ready, which I ate. When the wings came, we began eating. After my first bite, I thought they weren't fully cooked. I picked up another wing and realized it was raw as I couldn't pull it apart. I informed the cook/server/bartender and showed it to her. My hubby also showed her that his wings were raw as well. She took them back, saying she'd put them back on the grill, etc, with no apology or anything. While waiting, my daughter picked up 1 of hers, and there was a long hair on it. This was when we said ok we're going to leave." I walked to the kitchen door to get the lady's attention and told her we were leaving because my daughter found hair on her wings. Again, there was no apology but instead looked at me as if I was making it up or lying. As we're getting up to leave, she made a point to tell us we had to pay, and I said yea, we'll pay for the beers and burger. We paid and left, still with no apology or anything. She had no remorse. She looked annoyed or even angry with us, and we did nothing. We were the ones that were supposed to be angry, but we weren't. I'll never return to this bar and...

Here right now, actually the worst possible experience possible. Ordered my wife a rum and diet, served with 8 ice cubes a can of Pepsi and about a drop of rum in the cup. When questioned the female bartender with short white hair she then ripped the top off of the bottle, poured the reasonable shot into my wife's glass then slammed the glass down and gave us a dirty look.

This is a bar that should have failed due to covid restrictions, obviously made it through, but should be shut down for awful customer service, completely overserving the person beside me who is falling off the barstool.

I suppose I should be penalized for never being here before and being in my thirties.

We had made plans to visit a different restaurant but it was closed so driving down Barton this place caught our eye. It was like stepping back in time to a Cheers bar. Friendly people and very reasonably priced. The drink special was. Molson Canadian and a Burger for 9.95. wow.
